I suppose I should post a little here 
I'm Darren. I'm 40, male and English. I serve on the High Council in my Stake.
I became aware of the freedom issue in 1992 and undertook a study of everything I could get my hands on from Church leaders, and others such as Skousen, on the matter at about that time. Over the years I have gradually read other things related thereto.
I've always had a great love of truth and I despise deception.
My site, ldsfreedomportal.net, has been up quite a few years now. My purpose was to list only things that were said or recommended by Church leaders so that members could get a good base to start their study.
My main interest lies in the actual principles of good earthly government.
Politically I am a classical liberal, which means I would have agreed with the Founding Fathers and the traditional English libertarians. I am, of course, a constitutionalist too.
I hope this gives a little bit of a glimpse behind the Anglo-Saxon mask
