9-12er in Oregon

Hey folks! I've been lurking for awhile & thought I'd finally register. I'm a mom of 8, ward emergency specialist, and serve on the boards of both our local 9-12 project & tea party movement. I'm active LDS, my Naval officer husband is not. I'm absolutely fascinated with the times we're living in & have enjoyed the perspectives of the posters here (though, you might hate me because I am absolutely not a 9-11 truther.) Hope to chime in here & there. I appreciate all of the info you guys provide. I too, have that feeling in my heart that the storm is coming...

Welcome Rosie. I'm a mom of 6. They're grown now but I keep busy with them and the grandkids. Sometimes the Forum isn'tfor the faint of heart, heh. :)

Rosie - good to have another fellow mother on board - I myself have 6, 3 still at home. Sounds like your interests are right up my alley! Welcome, and jump right in!

Rosie, welcome. But if you want to absolutely avoid becoming a 9-11 'truther', don't read Dr. David Ray Griffin's two books: 'Debunking 9/11 Debunking' and 'The Mysterious Collapse of the World Trade Center Building 7'. Otherwise, you may find yourself slipping.

Thanks for the welcome! :D
No worries about truther books changing my mind. Anti-terrorist military classes that I sometimes get to 'eavesdrop' on, thanks to the hubby, have left me pretty unconvinceable. I definitely believe in secret combinations & much of the NWO information, but that aspect has been analyzed in a faulty manner.
::cheers:: :D

Rosie, the books certainly won't change your mind if you don't read them.

My witness to you is that they shred the 9/11 Commission and NIST reports and certainly the highly flawed Popular Mechanics piece, using well-researched documentation and superb analytic technique. Griffin is a long-time scholar, very well versed in mounting excellent, well-crafted arguments, backed up by evidence, reason and paper trails showing who said what and when.

If you can't read them, have your hubby read them and see how much of Griffin he can rebutt. I would sincerely be interested if he is able to effectively rebutt even a 10th of Griffin's analytic assertions and findings, of which his book is chock full of.

Hi, Rosie!

There's a Naval Air Station about 45 miles
from where I live. Is your husband a pilot,
by any chance?

You can be a 9/11 toother, truther or aloofer as
far as I'm concerned. Just keep those "chimes"
a-ringin'. :D

Rosie, my guess is that your husband is being deceived in those anti-terrorist military classes right along with his instructors. Don't ever think they know it all.

That was not a guess, Rosie. Disbelieve me if you like. I'm not going to post my resumé, but I've encountered far too much deception involving military affairs to trust what any person under FedGov influence might say about 911. The deceptions (a.k.a. lies) of Pearl Harbour, of certain Korean War events and of the Tonkin Gulf incident alone should cast doubts on the credibility of what gets fed to military personnel.

Rosie, welcome!

It's certainly OK not to be a 911-truther... However, coming onto the forum saying "you might hate me because I am absolutely not a 9-11 truther" is asking for it :)

You probably would have been safer with a don't ask don't tell policy. LOL.

I also second what lundbaek said. I think it's very naive to believe that the military wouldn't deceive you.

Hope you enjoy the forum :)

Well, Obama will be solving that problem for us, apparently.
Maybe this is how America gets defeated...by the massive desertion of the armed forces by heterosexuals. :?
