New member from San Antonio Texas

I just discovered this forum today. Good to find people of similar interests. Presently I teach ESL/EFL to international military personnel for the US Air Force down at Lackland AFB in San Antonio. I am retired from the military - 14 years in the Navy and 9 years in the Army. I was a Hebrew and then an Arabic linguist. Been a member of the Church since I joined at age 14 in 1966 in Phoenix, AZ. Went on a mission to the San Francisco Bay area. Have lived and worked all over the US, but originally from Illinois. Have also lived and worked in Greece, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. Have served in a wide variety of Church positions - district presidency, bishopric, stake missions, hp group leader, gospel doctrine teacher, etc. Hobbies include genealogy, history, archaeology, camping, gardening, and BYU sports. Went to BYU for undergraduate work and Utah for graduate work in TESOL. Should be fun and interesting forum.
