I’ve heard that lambs are the only animals that do not resist their own death and I can tell you that is true.

We once again approach the Christmas Season. What a precious time of the year. Many church members believe the Lord was actually born on April Sixth. They are in good company, the Discovery Channel did a special on this and said the evidence in the Bible points to April, and that the "new star" which the wise men saw was actually the Planet Jupiter if I remember correctly. In addition, millennial jew (Jewish Christian) and scripture scholar Jonathan Cahn has also figured that out, using the scriptures.

Why is this super important. Here's why, that would mean that the Lord was both born on, and died on the Feast of the Passover celebration. Here is a little refresher. The Feast of the Passover was a celebration held by the ancient Hebrews to commemorate that the angel of destruction had passed by their homes when the first-born children in Egypt were killed. The Feast of the Passover also celebrates the redemption of the children of Israel from Egypt.

Also about the sacrificial lambs used to keep the Law of Moses and prepare Israel for the Lord's sacrifice (this was also practiced by the Nephites), here is something very symbolic. "I’ve heard that lambs are the only animals that do not resist their own death and I can tell you that is true". That quote is from L.D.S. member Amberli Nelson.

We have found the Messiah, and may we never let go of Him. May God bless you, and Merry Christmas.

Interesting, thanks.
To not resist death is to not fear it.

Some would think that the sheep are just more stupid.

I would say that they are more spiritually intelligent.

Most Christians fear death as they forget their own belief that they are immortal.

I call BS on this. I've been on a lot of farms and see little if any difference between behavior of young sheep, than cows or horse. And I'll even throw in wild game as well. Now if you're trying to say young sheep are just plain ole stupid, then it doesn't say much for Jesus being a shepherd of them does it?

Frustrating with all the issues in the world to see poor baby animals brought into it.

I think it goes even deeper than forgetting one's true immortality, although that's part of it. It's also because we become incredibly materialistic and attached to the things of this world. It's like this scene from the Matrix which explains things better than I can:

"anyone that we haven't unplugged is potentially an agent"

What does "potentially" actually mean in this?

when you watch someone become emotionally compromised in fear, anger, jealousy, competitiveness, self righteousness, etc etc etc. You have seen the face of an agent. But who wants to really know the truth about themselves? 1%?

Two voices in our heads and the agent program is completely in control of maybe 90% of the population. The other voice is not of God nor is it of you. Those struggling to live a moral and clear headed life are the 10%. <These battle their minds and fight the good fight. The other 90% are lost for now and they will turn on you in a new york minute when things get tough.
