If they really wanted to purge conservatives that would do it.

What a great choice. He’s paid his “due bill” now he gets the red chair award.

People would go bananas with that one! Sistas in Zion and the Black Menaces, especially.

It would never happen, but just hearing the heads explode would be worth it.

I have to wonder if 2 more will pass before long.

a few mentions of 3 passing when the church goes into serious difficulties. (dreams/visions/etcetera etcetera)

hahaha. that was the name I was trying to remember. I was thinking of suggesting her but what really came to mind was a Rainbow Furry that identifies as an Apostle.

Yeah, that prophecy was going around a few years ago when three apostles died rather close together, but the prophecy that the remaining apostles couldn't hold the Church together (however it's worded) never happened, so I guess it didn't apply to that.

Have they really held it together? It seems that almost everything about the church has changed for the worse since then. It had problems then for sure but is unrecognizable now. Members are leaving in droves. That may have been a legit prophecy after all?

No apostles are currently legit, until the Spirit of Truth says otherwise.

I heard this weekend from someone in the P.B. that RMN had been absent from some meetings due to an illness (same one that kept him from GC), but that he is now back to his weekly meetings. And he wanted folks to know that he's now in his 100th year. But that means he was out of commisison for at least a month.

So do we think 3 will go before next GC? Ballard, RMN, and ??? It would be a fitting shakeup to end the 1/2 hour of silence (if we think that's 2001 - now-ish) and a weird coincidence with the second eclipse to cross the USA in 7 years in April 2024.

or maybe things just continue to lurch along like they have for 2 decades....

That's a good point. Maybe it was a legit prophecy, just a little slower in having things fall apart than I expected at the time.
