Mind boggling to me. Says I while listening. This is an idea whose time is past due.

I make it a point to give neither my attention. Fake news, lulling the Utah public to sleep with a false sense of security.

Nobody would want to buy them. They are conveniently located right where Satan wants them. They aren’t going anywhere. CNN with temple recommends I always call them.

The church will not want to give up their propaganda outlets. Other outlets won't state things the way the church would want them to.

The opposite argument could be made. Do they make the church money or are they losing it?

Isn't their value as a media/PR arm worth any theoretical loss they bring? With 100-200 billion in cash, and at least $5 billion a year in tithing and the surplus plowed into EPA, it wouldn't matter if DN/KSL had $0 in revenue. It's necessary overhead for the organization.

The majority of the church's membership is outside the USA now, and neither of these have any effect on the membership on other areas.

That's true, but the Church continues to be very Intermountain West-centric, nevertheless. And America-centric.
