The Victory won by Jesus of Nazerath ....

Post by TheChristian »

Today I visited a Pentecostal Church, during the service I had a Vision ......

I beheld a great flat plain in the midst of a great valley, there was two huge armies facing each other. I thought of these vast armies of men, that each side knew that when battle commenced that there would be great slaughter, that many would die or be gravely wounded. I considered their fears and anxieties of such, regardless of whom was right or wrong, I wondered about the leaders of each armies, those that would stir them up to fight, would they sit safely at the back of their armies, plan and direct their men to fight and die for them whilst they sat in safety?
As I was reflecting apon this, the Vision suddenly changed.
One of the armies had become so vast it was beyond number, all its soldiers were dressed in black, an angry, evil people filled with hate,
Whilst the army facing them became so few in number, they were dressed in white robes and seemed a gentle people.
There came into the midst of the huge army of black robed soldiers a great black throne and sitting apon it was lucifer, he arose and began to incite his men to wage war and destroy the little band of soldiers dressed in white robes, he screamed "Will you die for me, for my cause and protect me." It appeared that he himself was not going to lead his men into battle, that they were simply to fight and die to protect him...
Then I looked apon that little band of soldiers dressed in white, so few, ever so few in number, my heart went out for them, for there was no leader in their midst at all, they looked like sheep without a shepard.........
Suddenly there appeared between the two armies a man splattered with blood carrying a cross, he struggled with the weight of the Cross, then when between the open space between the two armies he stopped
He turned to the little band of soldiers dressed in white and said,

"My children put away your swords, today this battle I fight alone, it cannot be no other way!"

And then He turned to the vast black robed army with Lucifer enthroned in their midst and He planted firmly the blood stained Cross upright into the soil before their very eyes and in an instant lucifer and his army all fled as one in great fear and dread, vanquished by Jesus of Nazeraths victory apon the cross of calvary. Amen....

I have reflected deeply apon this Vision and feel inclined to share it apon this forum, so many of us here have fears, questions, doubts and uncertainties, whilst others debate with each other of which way to go in these times of great confusion apon the earth, could it be that the answer is that age old, but ever new message of Christs Victory apon the Cross, that He has won the greatest battle on His own, there could be no other way, that we like Peter must put away our swords and allow the Victory of Christs Cross be our sheild, our defence and salvation thru our faith in His sufferings and death on our behalf.
Perchance it is the way of Christ to take the lead, to do our fighting for us in these last of days and for us to put away our swords and be still and know that Christ is God triumphant!

Jesus is Lord!
