Joel Skousen on World War 3

Long interview but well worth the listen. What I took from this one is everything isn't necessarily black and white and the world is a lot more complex than we think. Also I hope he's wrong about his prediction of the power going dark for a year. The chaos that would ensue from that would make the Covid plandemic look like a walk in the park

Hopefully after the initial shock and breakdown of society it would cause, it might become surprisingly comfy.
Following the break down of modernity and losing the conveniences (and distractions) of a variety of technologies, a large body of divided groups, free from modern debt and a broken government, find deep humility as they reflect on all they have lost and all that they have gained. With the shackles of endless debt, lying and deceptive slave-drivers, endless (poor) entertainment and social media distraction removed from their lives, these people feel a sense of hope in the air as they walk forward in their lives remembering the bondage they lived in and have now been freed of, seeking to avoid repeating the problems they witnessed lead to their old world's collapse. Their old lives are broken. Old things are now new and new things are now gone. They humbly come together to help one another find food, shelter, stability, warmth and protection, as they carve out a home in a bright new world.
Someone should write a book.

There is MUCH that Joel understands better than almost anyone, but there are also things that he is clearly speculating about the pre-existence that he states very matter-of-factly but are simply things that like me he has long considered and come to a reasonable conclusion.
As far as things that are going on in the world, I think Joel is about as good as it gets for information.
When he wanders into pre-existence and how things were, I still think he has a well-considered opinion, but it isn't on the same level.

Several people have. One is called When the English Fall, by David Williams. Another is Only by Blood and Suffering by LaBoy Finicum. Unfortunately, they focus mostly on that ugly middle ground, as society seeks to bridge the gap between the ugly conditions that exist in reality, and the more ideal condition that might eventually exist in theory. Another unfortunate reality is the Predator/Prey dichotomy of the fallen world we live in. If there were no human predators, it would be a different story. But . . . we have learned from sad experience that it is the nature and disposition of almost all men . . . to exercise dominion.

If heaven is silent for the space of half an hour, hell can be quiet for a few minutes.

I will have to check those books out! Thanks for that information.
