Just being playful my friend.
Sure doesn't seem like it.
Steve, many things you write I agree with and the things I don't agree with I tell you, but one thing is for sure; I admire your diligence and perseverance in studying God's word and we here on this forum are lucky to have you.
You claim playful a lot when you are actually putting down.

That interpretation assumes the wrong intentions. My intent is simply to be direct and forward with the inherent belief that such honesty is far more beneficial than little honesty or simply placating someone. I never wish to put down or for you to feel put down, but I view it a service to someone to point out where they may be wrong, and I acknowledge that it may be me who is wrong.

One researcher into personal lives of the people in the past of the Restoration's past, shared with us an interesting story about Bidamon. He was what we call a developer. In other words, they start something like a business, but eventually sell it, as running the business is not really their forte. Bidamon started a matchmaking business which he eventually sold. Guess what the name of that company is today? Diamond Matches. Just a pinch of our rich history, from a side shot.
As for Joseph & Lewis, no, they were not the same person.

I couldn’t help but laugh, initially, when I read what you wrote about Bidamon starting up a matchmaking business and then selling it…oh, the irony behind that.
Bidamon didn’t seem to be much of a matchmaker, it seems true. /s

I recall Claire also sharing about one in the RLDS being the inventor of the loose leaf notebook. And as she shared items of history, it was if she was opening avenues of knowing more of our past & some of the Saint's contributions to the world & such.
