You're not the only one. All I can figure is that he is a very merciful and patient man. Considering the fact that over 50 million babies have been aborted in this country since 1973, not to mention the explosion in the homosexual population since then, along with unabated greed, lust, immorality, materialism, laziness, apathy, ignorance, 'hearts waxing cold', etc., he may have to apologize to Sodom & Gomorrah soon if the U.S. continues to go unpunished. We've also let secret combinations get above us for gain, power and control and the Lord has stated that he would destroy any nation that upheld such. We're ripe... the only question is... when?

Each time I read about each new state adopting this destruction of marriage, it makes me wonder how much longer will the lord withhold his hand and pour out his cursings/destructions upon those who openly support this (we as a people). I was concerned for California and prop 8, now I realize that it doesn't really matter who goes first with gay marriage, as long as we are gradually and subtly led down the path in the end the result will be the same. California will allow it soon enough with most of the states of the nations I am sure.

America is still one of the most righteous nations in the world (even though it is probably not saying much in the world we live). I know that is hard for many of you to believe, especially with the path this nation has chosen in the past 50 years.

The only line that separates us, is this is His covenant land and requires more.

Yet another state to legalize gay marriage? We certainly are ripening, but we're just begun to scratch the surface of gay marriage in America...
