Swine flu update
There's a radio program I try to catch every morning as I'm getting ready for the day called 'Liberty Roundtable'. Today, they had an expert on the flu virus rendering facts and figures about it and his opinion about what we can possibly expect from it. He said back in 1918, the same thing we're now seeing occurred with the swine flu, with about 100 cases reported and a few deaths, with lots of concern, but for the time being, no real dilemma. He then said the virus went into a dormancy phase for about 6 months and then re-emerged as a new strain that had mutated and was resistant to all forms of vaccines and medicines. He said eventually, 1/4 of the world population contracted it and that it was fatal in 3% of those exposed. I don't know what the world population was back then, but I'm sure that was an alarming number. He expects all of the alarm and hoopla about it to wind down shortly as it goes into a dormancy phase until the fall or early winter, at which time he sees it being a pandemic.

Re: Swine flu update
I heard the same thing from a different source. Also, another expert on Lou Dobbs talked about it going into a dormant phase in the summer, but then possibly re-emerging really bad in winter.
