Isaiah 16
This chapter speaks more about Moab and its refugees. The Moabite refugees, in particular the women, appeal to the daughter of Zion for assistance and refuge due to their extreme situations.

Verse 5 explains that when the throne of David is restored it shall provide shelter to the oppressed of the world. It will be set up in loving kindness and will maintain justice and promote righteousness.

The glories of Moab and its pride and propaganda are mentioned in contrast to its utter destruction and ruin. It is mentioned how Moab's vines (agriculture) have run across the sea. This is another reason why I wonder if this verse refers to Canada. Here's an quote about Canadian agriculture,
We export half of our beef/cattle, 70% of our soybeans, 70% of our pork, 75% of our wheat, 90% of our canola, and 95% of our pulses. Over 90 percent of Canada's farmers are dependent on exports as well as about 40 percent of our food processing sector. (cafta.org)
Canada's vines definitely run across the sea.

But, in any case, Moab's agriculture will be ruined. This will have ill effects on the food security of many countries due to the stop of the Moabite exports.

One important thing to note from the end of the chapter is that there will be a three year lease, or a period of warning. Gileadi takes this as three years that Moab is warned by the End-times Servant. I think it is a three year period in which Moab is warned that things can change quickly for the worse. Such a warning should cause a people to repent and turn to the source of their blessings, God, but it doesn't. I think Covid-19 and the illnesses from the vaccinations may be that three year lease. In any case, we are as obstinate as ever.
