Silly....

Prophets don't need to heal when they can rely on medicine. God provided that after all.
Prophets don't need to prophesy when we have councils, unanimity, the UN and NAACP. God provided that after all.
Prophets don't need to receive revelation about pandemics or vaccines. The UN will provide all of that, and God provided them after all.
Prophets don't need to translate when learned men can do it for them. God provided that after all.
Prophets speak for our day, so that old bigoted colonialist stuff no longer applies. God moved the world in that direction so that those bigoted church members would finally have to accept it after all.
Prophets can disavow past prophets when their words become unpalatable to modern sensibilities. God gave us those modern sensibilites for a reason after all, and He doesn't make mistakes.
Prophets don't need to help perfect people and literaly build Zion. That process is icky and leads to people feeling bad about indulging their natural man. After all, Christ sacrificed Himself so that we would never feel bad about ourselves or our choices.

The most important thing a prophet can do is make sure you never take your eye off of them. This is the core doctrine of Christianity and Salvation. The Iron Rod passes directly through the Office of the President of the Church, and no matter how far away from the Tree of Life he goes, the rod goes with him.

Smile, speak in generalities with cute catch phrases, and accept all forms of sin that might cause PR issues for the organization. This is the way to Zion and salvation.

Worried that over half the young people in the church want Same sex sealings? Smile and tell them how much you love them and pray for them.
Worried that abortion is rampant? Smile and tell them how much you love them and pray for them.
Worried that race relations are getting worse even though equality has never been more prevalent? Smile and tell them how much you love them and pray for them
Worried that your kids are getting sucked into believe that transgenderism is normal and acceptable? Smile and tell them how much you love them and pray for them.

If you really feel that the members need a little something extra, you might hold a birthday party for yourself with multiple church leaders praising you profusely. If you are in Young Women's leadership, you might make heart gestures with your hands to really convey your personal love to all the people you don't know in mormondom.

I think its clear what being a prophet really means.

Why does he not have a smile planted on his face constantly while he is talking? (Except when stern face comes out to scold us for the imaginary practice of white supremacy)
