I can't get a handle on what this is all about. Can anyone type a brief explanation?

So, one of Jodi’s clients from 20 years ago did an interview with Mormon Stories about how she ruined his life. He and his wife were referred to her for couples therapy by their bishop. The client had been sexually abused as a teenager and every time he would try to address it Jodi the therapist chided him, failed to address the trauma and, instead went and tattled on him to the BYU honor code office and his bishop for him having a pornography addiction. He lost his job (I think) and his standing and his wife divorced him.

Ruby and Jodi issued a temporary restraining order against Mormon Stories to have them take down the interview.

Is that the deal?

Thanks. That makes sense, but how does Ruby fit into the picture? Are Ruby and Jodi lesbians, or something?

Thanks. That makes sense, but how does Ruby fit into the picture? Are Ruby and Jodi lesbians, or something?

That didn’t bother me so much as her hair. I’m not usually that superficial. But it seemed she had some hairs slightly curled and some hairs straight. Gosh, I hope that’s not a trend now.

Ruby had a YouTube channel called '8 Passengers' that was very popular and she gave family and parental advice on the channel and as a therapist. Jodi partnered with her on this. Both her and Ruby were apprehended and are going through a court case for child abuse. Supposedly one of their own kids were found begging for food at a neighbor's house, malnourished and with duct tape on him. I think also Ruby's oldest daughter said she tried for many years to get the local law enforcement to get involved, but to no avail until recently. This is all I am aware of about their situation. Seems lots of things could start unfolding from this as we learn the truth... We will have to wait and see.

We all have our stories, our lives, and are not as bullet proof as we may appear. Go easy on her and look ourselves in the mirros. ;D That's what Jesus would invite us to do.
