Isaiah 10
The Situation
The Lord decrees woes upon those who use laws and government to be unjust and rob the poor. He includes in those woes those who deny the poor, the widows, and the fatherless of his people (underlined to point out that this refers to the Church, for the Lord claims as his people those who have made covenants with him and are thus of the House of Israel) of their rights, thus condemning the ecclesiastical leaders of his house.

This illustrates just how serious the misapplication of the law of tithing is, and how serious the misuse of Church funds is. Although these are not our only sins, apparently they are enough of themselves to cause the Church's destruction. This dovetails perfectly with the revelatory parable in D&C 101:43-62.

The Effect
The Lord will send the King of Assyria and his armies to punish the wicked, especially the house of Israel.

The riches that the oppressive leaders of the people have accumulated will do them no good. Ensign Peak will not help them then. Those of the House of Israel who have not repented will either kneel among the captives or fall among the dead.

However, as the situation becomes truly dire because of the advance of the Assyrians, Ephraim is rescued by the Lord and the King of Assyria is punished for his pride. They flee North America and their productive fields are destroyed and their armies and population are decimated.

The Remnant of Israel will have repented of all their sins and iniquities, everyone who remains.

What We Should Do
Be ready mentally and spiritually for the invasion of North America. Do not fear the foreign armies of Russia, China, and the other countries and do not fight them. They will be here of the Lord's will, and will be removed at his will in spectacular fashion.
