Isaiah 54:
Sing oh Barren one who did not bear; burst into song and shout, you who have not been in labor! For the children of the desolate woman will be more than the children of her that is married says the Lord. Enlarge the site of your tent, and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out; do not hold back lengthen the cords and strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and to the left and your descendants will possess the nations and will settle the desolate towns. Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed; do not be discouraged , for you will not suffer disgrace; for you will forget the shame of your youth and the disgrace of your widowhood you will remember no more. For your Maker is your husband, the Lord of hosts is his name; the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer, the God of the whole earth He is called. For the Lord has called you like a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit like the wife of a man's youth when she is cast off, says your God . For a brief moment I abandoned you, but with great compassion I will gather you. In overflowing wrath for a moment I hid my face from you, but with everlasting love I will have compassion on you says the Lord, Your Redeemer. This is like the days of Noah to me: Just as I swore that the waters of Noah would never again go over the earth, so I have sworn that I will not be angry with you and will not rebuke you. For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you and my covenant of peace shall not be removed says the Lord, who has compassion on you. O afflicted one, storm-tossed, and not comforted , I am about to set your stones in antimony, and lay your foundations with sapphires. I will make your pinnacles of rubies, your gates of jewels, and all your wall of precious stones. All your children shall be taught by the Lord and great shall be the prosperity of your children. In righteousness you shall be established; you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you. If anyone stirs up strife it is not from me; whoever stirs up strife with you shall fall because of you. See it is I who have created the smith who blows the fire of coals, and produces a weapons fit for its purpose; I have also created the ravager to destroy. No weapon that is fashioned against you shall prosper, and you shall confute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, says the Lord.
Do we sing and rejoice? Do you trust that hte Lord is going to produce good fruit in our lives? Are we exercising faith unto this promise? It may see far from many of us- we may even be in despair at our lives, but hte word of the Lord is true. While it may seem He has turned his face away from us or abandoned us, He WILL gather us. Though it seeemed his wrath was brought against us and great judgment, with everlasting love He will hae compassion on us. The Lord has Sword that He will not be angry with us and not rebuke us- nor will His steadfast love leave us. This is a promise of God who can not lie. So do we beileve Him? Do we thank Him? Do we understand and rejoice in His steadfast love despite weaknesses we may see in ourselves? Do we understand the heritage the Lord has and is giving us? While it seems we are barren in fruits, while it seems we are not producing life, while it seems like our enemies surround us- whether that be ourselves, or dark forces, do we believe taht no weapon fashioned against us shall prosper? Do we believe we will forget the same of your youth, the same of our widowhood, or the fact that we feel as if we don't measure up and are not able to provide (widowhood) we see that as a disgrace. Do we believe that we will remember that no more? that God is our husband, our provider, that His word is true?

The beginning of faith is believing the words. Jesus is the manifestation of God's words here. He is the promise fulfilled. We will confute every tongue that rises in judgment because of Jesus, because there is no judgment because of our belief in Him. We are changed because of Him. His words His life, gives us life. Do we believe enough not to be ashamed? Do we trust enough not to be ashamed? Do we trust the Lord will provide for us and we will no longer be "desolate." Until we begin ot believe, we will remain as we are. He gave His word so we might believe. His covenant of peacee shall not be removed from us, and He has compassion, and He will make us bear fruit/have children. Do we speak to Him in prayer asking for the faith to believe these words? To know Him, to trust taht Jesus is the way, the truth and the LIfe, and He has given us life, and the truth and the way- which is to trust God and let God work in us? To provide us the miracle of being transformed, to bear fruit. Do we ask the Lord for it and wait patiently to "give birth" to those things? When trials hit us do we trust in the Lord that "no weapon will prosper against us" that we ought to begin to build our tents... start walking, trusting the Lord that we will grow in Him, by enlarging our tents- do we walk forward and try to express spiritual gifts- expecting them to be manifest because iti s the word of hte Lord - not because we try hard, but because God said He would spread us out to the right and left. How can we live for the Lord if we believe we are only living in Sin- at some point we have to believe the Lord is going to work in us despite our weakness and let Him- too often we cut Him off saying we are too weak, but He sent His Son to succor the weak, Succor means to further, to aid, to help - We must yield and submit- in yielding we are strengthened, because it is His will - it is His promise and it is through Jesus CHrist He has done and does His work in and through us- We have His Spirit, let us live in it.
