Deviations From The Original Truths - Part 8

Post by CaptainM »

:( Due to an overwhelming demand ... and feeling a need to defend the original truth of 1827 - 1829, I will be stating herein some discussion points in piecemeal fashion. Rather than present all 30 plus at once, this will give anyone interested opportunity to absorb and research the ideas and comments if interested. These points are mainly from a gentleman named Richard Bauman taken from his series entitled "What Happened To The Church". (https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=YdrywgxUomA)

Like most documentaries I add that the views of the author do not necessarily represent my views. However, I believe he demonstrates great scholarship. Many of the Book of Mormon references are given as the RLDS version.

I quote:

...the following documented statements should bring the reader to the realization that ... Joseph Smith
indeed "yielded to the persuasions of men". Consequently in just a very short time, the truths of the unchangeable God became so obscured that those whose job it was to bring forth and establish the truth became the enemy by concealing the truth!

22. Feb. 27, 1833 Joseph received the "revelation" known as the Word of Wisdom. It has brought a lot of strife. True scripture often mentions "wine", and that's exactly what it means. The Lord knows how to spell "juice". Many people are allergic to wheat. Fish, a favorite food of the Lord twice they were used to demonstrate miracles is not mentioned. We're told what to feed pigs, but not how to use them (forget t he handbags and footballs concept, folks, because we're not to waste flesh!). Not all fruit of the vine is safe to eat. We've also been led to believe that following the Word of Wisdom carried certain promises, but this is in conflict with Alma, Proverbs 3:5-8, and Isaiah 40:51, that tell us that health, strength, treasures, and knowing the mysteries depends on
repentance, looking to God, and doing good!

Now if you sometimes feel that the Word of Wisdom doesn't make sense (and you should), then you will have great appreciation for this scripture found in Micah 2:11:

"If a man walking in the spirit and falsehood do lie, saying, I will prophesy unto
thee or wine and of strong drink; he shall even be the prophet of this people."

To my knowledge, there is no other prophet in the last days who has had a prophecy pertaining to wine and strong drink. Look at what the"Word of Wisdom" says: ...that inasmuch as any man drinketh wine or strong drink among you, behold, it is not good, neither meet in the sight of your Father... so, brothers and sisters, What do you suppose was the first miracle that Christ performed in the New Testament? He made the best wine out of water! (see John 2: 3-11) The "Word of Wisdom" is in conflict with Christ!

23. July 2, 1833 Joseph & Sidney finished "translating" the Inspired Version. No interpreters were used, and no translating from any language - ancient or modern - was involved. Remember that the Lord made available the Fullness of the Gospel in 1829 (The Manuscript), but Joseph didn't finish the "InspiredTranslation" until 4years later, and it wasn't available until 1867 (See the preface to the Inspired Version). The Book of Mormon specifically indicates it was to work with the King James version, and besides, the "Inspired Version" was 40 years too late to assist in establishing a church with the fullness!

24. This "Inspired" Version of the Bible also says that Cain is "Master Mahan...Master of the Great Secret". (see Genesis 5:16 Inspired Version) These terms do not exist in the King JamesVersion. However "The Great Secret in Masonry is the True name of God Remember this: the great secret is the true name of god! Read the following:

Albert Pike, the 33rd degree mason who wrote the Morals and Dogma of Freemasonry (the authoritative text for masons up to the 32nd degree) is quoted in the book, The GodMakers, p. 129-130, that the truth is to be concealed from the lower initiates...

...Truth is not for those who are unworthy.... (He and Masons of less than 30th degree) are intentionally misled by false interpretations. It is not intended that he shalt understand them, but it is intended that he shall imagine he understands them...

"To you, Sovereign Grand Inspectors General, we say this, that you may repeat it to the Brethren of the 32nd, 31st and 30th degrees - the Masonic Religion should be, by all of us initiates of the high degrees, maintained in the purity of the Luciferian Doctrine. Yes, Lucifer is God...Lucifer, God of light and God of God is struggling for humanity...."

Isn't this clear, brothers and sisters that the Masons' great secret is that Lucifer is the name of their god?! Isn't it also clear that satan doesn't want the Holy Priesthood to bear the name of The Holy Order of the Son of God, being Jesus Christ, but substitute it with the names of men?!

Masonry became officially promoted when the Nauvoo Lodge was instituted in March15, 1842. Joseph and Sidney were the first to be initiated in, and the next day they both advanced to the Master Mason Degree. Soon secret Temple rites, and related "revelations" came in (temple endowments & baptism for the dead) and the Masonic temple constructed.

When Joseph became too powerful, it now appears, he lost his life. The masonic distress call, O" Lord, MyGod, is there no help for the Widow's son," never was completed when Joseph rushed to the window at Carthage Jail. Had he completed it, fellow masons in the mob would have had to spare him. He only got as far as, "O Lord, My God,." and his life was cut off.

The history of Masonry, found in the Mid-Continent Library in independence shows one or the first lodges in Missouri was called the "Palmyra Lodge." Later history shows that after the Mormons arrived at Salt Lake, they immediately applied to the Masonic officials to establish three new lodges. Although Utah Mormons and Masonry have split since then over polygamy, Mormon religion still carries on with its own Masonic religion: oaths, temple
rites, symbols, etc. RLDS and other Restoration factions are accepted into MASONRY directly.

I love that Micah scripture.

Truly, no other fits that description. It's another bullseye for Joseph.

At a minimum, that's highly inconsistent for a God who does not change.

One minute he makes you wine, the next he says it's not from him.

If you think that's wishy-washy, just wait till verse 17 where the revelation flip flops again and says beer is made for man's use.

And let's not forget the future flip-flop when he returns and drinks wine with us:

"wherefore, marvel not, for the hour cometh that I will drink of the fruit of the vine with you on the earth"
