Please share your thoughts about 1 Cor 7 vs Modern Day Revelations. Do Paul's teachings still ring true?
Was he incorrect?
Very correct?
What is the background here?

Re: Your thoughts on 1 Cor 7
Hey, Pilgrim. I think the key is where Paul says “What I mean, brothers and sisters, is that the time is short. From now on those who have wives should live as if they do not; those who mourn, as if they did not; those who are happy, as if they were not; those who buy something, as if it were not theirs to keep; those who use the things of the world, as if not engrossed in them. For this world in its present form is passing away. (vs 29-31)FellowPilgrim wrote: ↑August 17th, 2023, 8:24 pm Please share your thoughts about 1 Cor 7 vs Modern Day Revelations. It becomes apparent from Paul’s writings that he expected the imminent passing of the material world to be replaced by a higher spiritual one. Was he correct? Obviously that did not happen, in his lifetime, as he anticipated.
If he had known that life on the mortal plane would continue as it had for additional millennia, would he have given the same advice?
