Alternative KJV website
I'm done using the church's scripture library link on my desktop computer. The links don't load for me or they often buffer continuously. This is especially frustrating when I'm deep in my studies or I need to copy and paste passages when I'm writing a blog. If anyone else has the same problem, here's a decent alternative website, which I'm relatively happy with:
https://thekingsbible.com/
Also, I like this concordance for really parsing the scriptures:
https://www.eliyah.com/lexicon.html

Re: Alternative KJV website
I am partial to https://simplyscriptures.com as it incorporates the JST directly in the text and there is very helpful context for every D&C section.
However, strong's concordance and language tools like BibleHub are very helpful also.

A great many sentence overlap on my screen..sentences on top of sentences. Could it be because I'm using Firefox?Telavian wrote: ↑August 15th, 2023, 12:46 pm I am partial to https://simplyscriptures.com as it incorporates the JST directly in the text and there is very helpful context for every D&C section.

I just tested on Firefox and noticed the problem. I can look into it and get it fixed.

Wow a clean, non convoluted, social media driven interface.
It almost seems like they want to people to study with this website. Thanks.

I fixed that problem. If you see any others please let me know.
You may have to clear your cache for it to take effect.

Re: Alternative KJV website
I use this one https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/
It even includes a section on the KJV Apocrypha, 15 books which were in Joseph Smith's KJV Bible, but are not in the LDS Bible or on most KJV sites. You can search through that too.

It is quite funny to hear people say that the KJV removed books from the Bible. The only one its translators arguably removed is Laodiceans.

Here is one with everything even though the author holds fast, presses forward, and is enduring to the end with the word of God in the Book of Mormon.
