Could the tea parties be the beginning of a revolution?

The kettle's whistling. Tea Parties are popping up all over the country. People are flocking to these sites which have cropped up practically overnight in search of information about rallies, demonstrations and Tea Parties in their cities. The revolution is brewing!

"Somebody in our government needs to finally pay attention. It is what I've been talking about that was coming for a very long time and that is disenfranchisement which will turn into anger and then turn into God knows what," Glenn Beck said Friday on his radio program about CNBC'S Rick Santelli's passionate comments made Thursday from the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Could these tea parties be the beginning of a real revolution in the U.S.? Right now I say no... there aren't enough people who are awake or coming out to the tea parties. One million in 50 states is only 20,000 people per state... that isn't going to start anything. If we can get that one million to ten million, then we'll have something. There are two more tea parties planned over the next few months... one on May 30 and again on July 4, but so far, Utah doesn't appear to have any scheduled (unless they just don't know where they're going to be held yet)? I can see this evolving... it's time to stand up for what is left of the constitution, what we know is right and against the evil being perpetrated by scum in Washington, DC! :D

Yes, Col, it is a beginning. We have to start somewhere. It's not coming from any of the two major parties. We have to think outside the box. A grass roots movement has started. We just need to keep the momentum up and not allow it to peter off. With what is going on in Washington, I can only see more people getting madder. It all started with Committees of correspondence before the Revolution.

Col Flagg here is one Tea Party group in Utah I am sure there are others;

The TEA parties afforded some of us a good opportunity to vent our feelings, but until enough people come to understand why we need to get our government into compliance with the US Constitution, TEA Parties are great for publicity and rallying people, but not effective particular effective at awakening Americans to the fact that the USA is run by conspiring insiders and that we the people have no more control or influence in our Republic.
