What a joke. When you're the president of the United States, only the best pizza will do - even if that means flying a chef 860 miles. Chris Sommers, 33, jetted into Washington from St Louis, Missouri, on Thursday with a suitcase of dough, cheese and pans to to prepare food for the Obamas and their staff. He had apparently been handpicked after the President had tasted his pizzas on the campaign trail last autumn.

Col. Flagg, 860 miles is nothing. Didn't your buddies on M*A*S*H order some ribs and BBQ sauce from Adam's Ribs in Chicago? Chicago to So. Korea is a tad more than 860 miles. Some food is just worth it I guess 8)

Obama's salary is paid by taxes.threepercentite wrote:I could see for ribs or brisket, but pizza, how silly.
btw, the white house food budget is an out of pocket expense for the president. it is not paid for by taxes.

Classic episode! My favorite part is when Hawkeye hangs up the phone after moving mountains to get through to Adam's Ribs in Chicago from Korea and then says "DAMN (sorry)... I forgot to order the coleslaw"!shadow wrote:Col. Flagg, 860 miles is nothing. Didn't your buddies on M*A*S*H order some ribs and BBQ sauce from Adam's Ribs in Chicago? Chicago to So.
