I'm finding the training from this organization helpful.

I don't agree with everything they teach, but by and large, it's helping me clearly identify what I'm experiencing, and giving me ideas of how I can heal.

I'm sure a lot of what they teach is good but just like the worldly people we have just left, they will have many worldly philosophies and I presume little love or feel for the things I God. I need to find people who left the church because the Leaders and members were making a mockery out of the Lord and his teachings. I left the church because they and are continuing to become more woke everyday and Lord will not be Mocked. My love for My Father and his Son goes way to deep for the members and and Philosophers of this world. Going to therapist you run risk of being even more conditioned by the world if your not strong in your Faith in God.

Thanks for sharing. I like this info from the website:
“What is uniquely damaging within faith-based institutions is their use of spiritual doctrine as a weapon of Institutional Abuse. Whenever a spiritual leader (pastor, rabbi, swami, priest, etc.) or a member of their team uses their spiritual position to control or dominate another person, it is spiritual abuse. When an institution does this, it is institutional spiritual abuse – such as when the board or executive team uses their power to shut down the investigation of abuse allegations against other members of their team, protecting themselves at the expense of the one seeking their help. “It often involves overriding the feelings and opinions of another, without regard to what will result in the other person’s state of living, emotions or spiritual well-being. . . . Power is used to bolster the ideals or needs of a leader, over and above one who comes to them in need.”(2) We see this when the spiritual leader or representative of the faith-based institution intentionally misquotes or takes a portion of their religious doctrine out of context for the sole purpose of shielding themself or the institution from accountability or liability by overriding, minimizing, shutting down or domineering the victim or victim advocate.”

And some people on this forum think they are being bullied and abused through some rough debating tactics

Anything someone on this forum says pales in comparison to the bullying/abuse some have endured through trusted church leaders.
