The prophet trusts in the philosophies and encourages us to do the same except when giving talks like this.
We should follow the prophet/Q15 except when they're wrong. Then we should "take charge of our own testimony" and listen to the Spirit and realize this is a test. That sounds like a "get out of jail free" card for RMN/Q15. I did take charge by skipping the vax and cutting class.
But then go back to listening to RMN and Q15 when the danger is over.
And definitely don't assume you can follow the spirit over the prophet/Q15 after covid.
We should delight in truth and denounce deception but not if the deception comes from church leadership. Then we're told to stay out of it, sustain, and let God sort it out.
A guy on the internet paying a little bit of attention knows the experimental MRNA vaccines rushed to market and jammed down our throats is cause for distrust and concern but the nearly 100 year old retired surgeon, head of a multi-billion dollar international church, and literal mouthpiece for God on earth encourages us to be good global citizens and take the Godsend. Then I hear that he innocently gave that mistaken advice so he won't be held accountable for death and destruction caused by the Godsend or most actually believe it was a Godsend and praise him for it.

Look at that second to last line in the quote above about not polluting your testimony with false philosophies of unbelieving men and women. He followed the script perfectly. For Pete's sake perhaps I can suggest a few books for him on the things men have planned for this world. Here is a really short list that will give one a vague understanding of what has been openly discussed for years. If I had a massive budget and access to world leadership and manpower I'm pretty sure I could have a crystal clear picture of the game they are playing. I'm just a hobbyist with an average income and a family to care for. If I can do it so can they. I think they know what's going on.

First of all, I love the pre-vetted questions. Then they laugh about the following question being a softball. If you know it's coming and how it's pitched then IT IS a softball. Question: Many high-profile leaders have spoken out against getting vaccinated. Do we listen to them or the prophet? Wait a second. Most of the world leaders have PUSHED the vaccine not warned against it. So now the prophet urging us to get the vax is somehow for brave rebels going against government mandates and urgings? Nah, don't try and flip the script Capn Moroni. He said the vaccine is a Godsend, and a miracle and we urge you to mask up and get the shot. The vax is effective but you need masks to limit the spread. Are young people at risk of severe infection you want to prevent?

Young people dropping dead and having heart attacks is ok huh? No qualifiers, just get it everyone. "Not just for the sake of making us healthy and resilient but also to allow the church to gather Israel." What if I told you there was another way to keep gathering Israel that involved you really pushing back against government leaders? The minor reason for shots was keeping people healthy, the major reason was so the governments would give them the all clear to gather. That's brave. Keep your "urgings" to yourself next time. They prayed for the problem to be solved in a specific way and called it a miracle. Did they listen for the answer? Don't we have access to the healing power of the priesthood anymore? Laying on hands < philosophies of men/arm of flesh but we're super serious about this man being a living prophet. Where is the faith? We MUST gather Israel unless the super sniffles come around, then shut everything down and urge members to take the poison so the gov will let us start gathering Israel again. Chosen the gospel in faith here on this earth.
Created families who might be covenant keeping members doing missionary work
If you're dead you can't do any ordinances for the dead since
If you knowingly get people killed that will impact your eternal salvation
Doing what the Q15 did with the jab has/will lead members away from the gospel and perhaps even Christ. That has eternal consequences.

It seems like it really just comes down to did they know what they were doing was dangerous? Refer to my post. If I can figure it out so could they. Speaking of they. Not one of the Q15 dissented? These are all very learned men. They have worldly accolades and degrees. I have none. Have any 70's dissented? The Church has taught for 100 years that you follow the prophet, but forgot to mention that following the Spirit is more important than following the prophet, and that if you follow the prophet INSTEAD of the spirit you will die.

Now God is teaching this principle in a very dramatic way, just before Zion is to be redeemed. We as a Church must learn it. Those who will ignore the Spirit and follow the prophet instead of the Spirit will likely die by the vax. Those who will remain will be ready to carry on with New Jerusalem.

Seems like a very efficient plan to me.

It is time for the members of the Church to grow up or die. Those who are not ready to learn here, will learn in the spirit world.

But all will learn.

I feel compassion toward those who were led astray. I feel contempt for those that pushed this. I think we are commanded to awaken those who believe every word from the Q15 is God's word. At a certain point we are responsible for our decisions of course but youth being led by parents to take the shot don't deserve what has happened. I agree with you that members need to grow up but the die part seems a bit harsh for programmed individuals. I agree with you about the priesthood. Where is the healing that the apostles do as a sign of that their faith is in Christ?

Look at these verses in Mathew 10

Instead of donating this back to its members...they decided to give the hard cash to a non profit that can eat up all the costs in administration fees and salaries then give what's left over to the poor. It's not like the church had any insider knowledge of the poor and suffering within their own congregations...

This donation was made to our kind and thoughtful government leaders overlords that didn't want actual food donations...they wanted hard cash.

Hard cash taken from the very poor that are trying to go to heaven by paying an entrance fee into the temple.
