Was Endless Questions Given a Broken Brain for a Purpose?

Post by endlessQuestions »

Last night as I prayed, I felt an impression.

It went something like this:

"You've been telling people to be careful with your research because of your broken brain.

What if you were given a broken brain so you could conduct this research?"

Been thinking a lot about that today, since it IS a red letter day on God's calendars.

I don't know, though - I still wish my brain would be made whole at some point.

Guess there's always that resurrection to look forward to.

Whatever happened to only five posts a day? Was that only ever a temporary thing?

You seemed contrite and thoughtful about your actions and words --- for about a day.

Seems like a lot of coincidences all coming together right here at LDSFF.

Too many to be.

A coincidence.

Let the naysayers neigh.

The "conservative" mind doesn't know what it doesn't know.

And the "liberal" one doesn't want to know.

And like Pooh Bear.

They are proud of that.

According to John Pratt (who, it must be noted, is not here to defend himself)...

a red letter day is a day that is important on God's calendar systems.

If you remember paper calendars, all the days were black.

Except the "holi"-days.

Which are the pagan way of ruining holy days.

Those were printed in red ink.

On God's calendars, some days are "most holy" - when multiple calendars align, John called it a "red letter day".

Today was one such day.

As was the day we released the Beverly Campbell papers.

And there are many more to come.

What does it all mean, endless?

Well, I don't know.

It just helps my broken brain to know that God is in charge.

And that He knows what time it is.

And that He set His appointments before the world was even created, if you can have the faith to believe that!

And that He's never late for an appointment.

Hang tight, everyone. God is on the way!

(I just don't know when) ;)

Your brain isn't broken. That's just some made up bull#$__ by some jackwad with 3 letters in front of his name to get you hooked on a lot of approved drugs and avoid the hard introspection work of with Gods help fixing yourself. It's the devil's mechanism to prevent you from finding God.

Well, I got me some pictures that might prove otherwise.

From a place called "Amen" Clinics, of all things. Always thought that was funny. Like it was the final word on my condition.

But I do think that, in general, what you're saying is accurate.

More on that later, perhaps.

Pictures? Like brain scans? Again a load of crap. The brain is very plastic. If you take pictures of airline pilots brains you'll find a lot of commonalities in areas that are activated. And it means squat, it just shows that if you think about something or train at a skill those things reside in a common area of the brain. It doesn't translate into a broken brain.

People make their own prison with their own bars by telling themselves self-limiting lies. Nothing is stopping you from breaking this prison but you.
