I saw the link to the UK AI preacher on Fox. It had an actual, almost live, black man talking head teaching principles. Not a robot looking thing. Robotics isn't AI, may host it but they are book ends. AI is software and robots are hardware.

I've warned before on the forum about trusting anything to unproven software, AI or auto-learning software is unprovable or non-deterministic or non-assurable or non-trustable.

I wrote an international standard for ASTM on how to assure or quantify the safety and quality of AI algorithms. It is actually harder for most systems than just writing the initial code directly and auto-learning code (code that learns in the field vs. the lab before distribution) has no accreditation or safety metrics and is fully "untrustable".

So, making religion based on AI, the the ultimate coup for the Adversary! People cannot see AI, it is SW. There is no evil in it. There is evil developing it and it represents evil, but it isn't evil or good or bad.

As stated AI (software in general) has no build in intent or morals or spirit, just logic which is usually faulty when not fully assured, even then only assured to like 10 to the -4 or -5 at best. Planes want safety software in 10 to -6 (1 in Million) for little things and 10 -9 (1B) for safety of large planes. BTW the actual physical safety of most airlines is 10 to -11 or so (4 B hours between crashes of the hardware or software or aero failures, i.e. not pilot mistakes or weather).

The very bottom robot looks like something my 4 year old would throw together with legos. If that thing blessed me I'd probably not be able to stop laughing . It does make sense though. As humanity continues being removed from society and human connection/interaction seems to be joyfully being replaced with cold machines, this is a natural step in this "brave new world". Tech can be a blessing and a curse/ great and terrible. For some it is the new golden calf to worship. It will also be our Achilles heel.
