Controls are tightening in Norway.

One of the moderators of my discussion board who lives in Norway wrote the following this a.m. about how their nation is being forced to contribute certain items to the new global order:

"Norway is not yet in EU... and I doubt we are going there for a while. We would be the ones paying for everything in Europe if we did go in to it as we have the oil... Finland tok the EU currency and EVERYTHING got a lot more expencive! And they told us it would be cheeper! Now in Finland you are NOT allowed to grow weet as much as before as we are supposed to give out paper... it looks like they want to try to make every country doing just one big thing thus we are getting dependent on each other so that if they want to they can say... you wont get any wheet unless you do as we tell you to and no one takes your paper... and tehn we ahve no cows, or just a very few and no wheet.... no country will manage on its own and thus it is easy to controll them all ... About the law... it would be great if one can kindly critizitse. But now there are words beeing used that are more hatefull than just critizitsing."

When I was traveling in Egypt last year some of the guides were casually talking about the forthcoming "globalization." I think some people in the third world are under the illusion that it won't be long before wealthy nations will be forced to give their goods etc. to impoverished people and everyone's standard of living will be raised. Little do they know that the plan is not to improve the lifestyle of people worldwide but to diminish it for everyone, except of course for a few elite as it was in the hey day of Soviet communism. I suppose that way it's easier to herd the people... (And from the spiritual point of view it's easier for Satan to take away freedom, the right to choices and the ability to freely make them.)

That's how I see it this morning.

True enough. They bait these impoverished nations... they get them into debt. What they see as a helping hand is a giant thumb. All things equal is a dream that can never be realized. The minute things are "equal" they are unequal. Not everyone has the same needs. People have different numbers of children, live in different climates requiring different maintenance, have different dietary needs, different medical needs, etc.

The blessing for third world nations will be if they can just hang on to their crops and livestock. Their quality of life wouldn't change much, while developed nations will drop a few pegs and have a much more terrible time coping.

Those who seek their reward on earth will have it.

I think it was Cleon Skousen (maybe Pres. Benson) who taught that the lowest level of government that can possibly handle a concern for government to address was the best and proper level for that concern to be handled. There are major trends to reverse that and remove government so far from the people that politicians who are supposed to be serving their constituents do not even know them, ultimately because they reside in some foreign land.

justamere10; that was a very interesting post. Let's me know that I'm not just some wacky conspiracy nut who's scared about a NWO. It's really happening before our eyes. It's happening around the world now. What's sad is that most Americans don't have a clue!

I don't know if you are "a wacky conspiracy nut" or not. :)

But I agree with you, it's astonishing how things have been playing out on our television screens day after day for about six months now that give evidence our world is perhaps only weeks, months or three or four years at the most from huge changes that will most likely result in the physical separation of the righteous from the wicked and ultimately the glorious "second" coming of the Lord. I have never before in my sixty+ years of mortal life seen anything at all like what is happening right now.

I had almost given up on living during such times even though my dreams since childhood have been filled with a world yet unknown, but one that is now taking shape, emerging piece by piece from dark clouds daily. I think I've been prepared for it, you probably do too.

I find it exciting, it's a GREAT time to be alive!
