President Obama has just laid out his new war strategy. And he's made it clear that the fight is both in Afghanistan and Pakistan. So I asked Dennis McDonough, with the National Security Council: Does that mean U.S. ground forces in Pakistan? Or more drone attacks? "I'm not going to comment on the notions you laid out there," he answered, during a White House conference call with bloggers.
How many troops do we have left to send into Pakistan? 20 maybe?

Maybe have a "going away" party!

OPPS Sorry I wouldn't sic that bunch of mental morrons on even my worst enemy!

Never mind, just send DUH 20!

I pray that we don't go into Pakistan! Obama not only is not bringing the troops home, he's sending more troops into hellish places. Heaven help our military.

Ugh. Not a good place, even the safe parts suck. Nasty little place. There ain't no Osama there. It is a strategic location. Some parts are pretty though. I am not one to tell people what to do, but tell her I think that place is about to get hotter. The Afghans are not broken, just waiting. Anybody that can survive that place is doing something. Remember that these people fought the russians off (with our help in part) not so long ago. They have a patient strong tradition. They are more than people think. As soon as our economy starts to crumble a little more, the afghans will come out of hiding. They are skirmishing right now and need 1/100th of what our soldiers need. I am not kidding. It is a unholy quest and we should not be there. They get the weapons they need from where they need it. That is all I will say on that. I would not go back unless I believed in it. I am afraid that our troops may get stuck over there in the next 4 years. Convince her to do otherwise...I know that is hard, but nov is a long time. There are many other things in the future to where she can prove herself. It is all BULL CRAP over there. There is no honor in it. I was elite light infantry..Most army knows what that means and I am telling you that it is bull crap. That war will never be won...I don't think it is meant to be won!

And about Pakistan:

Are we trying to piss off every nation of the world that has nukes?

I know, but... Wall Street needs the drug trade protected and the opium produced over there from the poppy seed plants... isn't that good enough a reason? Besides... gotta protect that pipeline too.
