Yeah, the hate towards him was almost more vitriolic than some polygamy threads I've see... and that's saying a lot.

Whatever. A person can't call out disruptive behavior without others like you saying he's vying for the forum hall monitor position.tmac wrote: ↑December 1st, 2022, 11:38 amThe reality is that LDSFF ebbs and flows. AGF started the Railroad thread. EIMN started this one, and several others about the railroad thread. Because you care so very much about this forum, why don't you start your own thread to pick apart all those threads. and their OPs? Maybe you'll get more traction that way.

From my perspective, the Forum has been in a fairly serious ebb for a few months now. Instead of criticizing everyone and everything else, why don’t you bring a “high impact” thread to the table? I’ll be watching for it.
And, please, please identify the "high impact issue" threads for us, so that we'll know which ones to watch for and focus on. Thanks.
How about, we just had another election stolen in Arizona? I'll add something about that.

I’m fascinated by those who try to pull my attention away from where I desire it to be, when there is no reason for anyone to care about where my attention is. It’s a form of negotiation, isn’t it, which Sir H has some interesting thoughts about.
Things got a bit busy, but I’ll be back soon to research whatever it is I want to look at from the original thread. Objections notwithstanding.

Re: A Global Faith and Working on the Railroad - Unraveling One of the Most Interesting Threads To Appear On LDSFF
I finally finished reading all of the original thread and this current thread and feel that i've now earned the right to post a thought or two.
First, how you all have the time to be able to follow many of these threads is a mystery to me....but I work full time, have a family and work in my spare time...I'm not retired and something I've never considered until this thread, I'm not a paid troll monitoring a board and making sure people don't get too close to a topic my employer doesn't want discussed and if it is to provide cover or a plausible alternative theory. I'm just a regular guy that loves my country and the gospel which is how I ended up here reading stuff 10 or more years ago now.
Second, agf was telling his story and that's fine. I wasn't waiting daily during this time for the next installment...I just read it all in one or two days/weeks. Reading it that way gave me the insight that some people are either paid trolls or are just plain rude and maybe both. People obviously worked hard to shut down the thread by trying to persuade the moderator/owner of the forum to shut him down....very suspicious. I now don't pay much heed to what many of the detractors say because you exposed yourself as something other than those looking for open and free discussion. You don't get to dictate how others say what they are trying to say. To me it really was a lesson in free speech. Your are welcome to question but some of you went way beyond. What are the detractors to his story trying to protect? You're worried about the quality of the board? Protectors of ldsff? Or just mean spirited?
Third, the information provided can be corroborated it seems. It appears to me that the story gives a very plausible explanation of the slide of the LDS church into socialism/globalism/following the current world narrative. The main nugget being that some/all/one or two of our leaders could be/are compromised. And have been for some time, leading to a current state of a bunch of old, rich, worldly Harvard/Stanford elites. This has sharpened my view that the wheat and tares are growing together and it would be wise to not trust in the arm of flesh. The announcements and church changes don't make sense. But they do make sense if some of the leaders are in secret society's and looking out for the "order". This information if true (which it seems to be since there is a mention of secret society membership in rmn's autobiography)is cataclysmic and worth needing to know for my family's safety and salvation.
Fourth. You people tearing down agf really were annoying when reading through that thread and you are still annoying trying to be right, know it alls. I don't mind alternative opinions and realize that I can be wrong or be deceived but man it was so tiresome to read that thread, mostly due to the antagonism. Maybe agf was a troll, maybe a cia agent, maybe an old man wanting to get some things out in the open before he dies. If it's a true story, man I would want to get it off my chest. I lean toward something in the middle and am ready to be proven wrong. May free speech live on forever...with kindness, courtesy and respect for each other.
Thanks for letting me post.

Those of you who were late to the thread may not realize that some of the posts have been removed or moderated. Nothing relevant to AGF's story was removed, just the uncivil banter. AGF got off to a rough start on LDSFF. It wasn't just others being rude to him, AGF was being rude to others (some of those posts are still there, some were removed or edited). It was understandable that several people thought he was just a troll.cwass wrote: ↑December 1st, 2022, 8:38 pm I finally finished reading all of the original thread and this current thread and feel that i've now earned the right to post a thought or two. ...

AGF was already attacking people in other threads before he started the Railroad thread with this simple comment "I am starting this thread and will update it shortly as I get time thank you". Just days before that AGF was shilling for the vaccine saying "the data all shows that it’s very effective" and that we need to "Follow the data. Follow the science. Follow the First Presidency." While I don't condone being rude to someone because they are wrong, AGF was the one that came here promoting false propaganda right out of the gate.
Again, AGF established himself very early on as a possible troll. Then myself and some others stepped in to try to get things on a more civil track with his railroad discussion.

Again, just quoting this so you can see clearly that AGF set off a bunch of people's troll radar right away as he was shilling for the clot shot; spreading false & dangerous covid propaganda.A Global Faith wrote: ↑August 22nd, 2021, 6:00 pmFollow the Prophet. Kinda spooky, when you think about it..."hastening the work" via a gift vaccine??? Sounds like someone at the WEF.

This is a great example of good vs evil and the confusion of many. It becomes tough to figure out (on the internet, where there is no personal connection) a person's real intent. The line of who is evil and who is fighting evil becomes blurred when those fighting evil use evil tactics. ... just sayin

Is it good vs evil here? AGF is obviously very intelligent, and intent can be really difficult to discern in those cases. Not sure you can call it sarcasm when he wrote several posts saying similar things. He was either being serious or was an actual certified troll. Based on the original series of events leading up to him creating the Railroad thread, I think he was being serious. He was consistently preaching 'follow the prophet' and get jabbed.

Re: A Global Faith and Working on the Railroad - Unraveling One of the Most Interesting Threads To Appear On LDSFF
I venture to say there is very little any of us can say with certainty about AGF, except that he certainly had a knack for pushing buttons. Here we are, we haven’t seen or heard from him in over year, and he’s still pushing buttons. I’d call that high-impact.
But if you look at all he said/wrote as a whole, it would be hard to reconcile the view that he wasn’t being sarcastic about a whole lot of his approach, playing many LDSFFers like the Spanish guitar he gave to Hyloglygh.
Long before I became personally acquainted with Hylo, I had questions about AGF, and whether he was a troll, AI generated, or whatever. So I generated a couple, small, real-world tests, based on what he had written (that I’m 99.9% sure no one else would even notice) that satisfied me that he was real. What his motives were I can’t say. But I will say that, regardless of his motives, and regardless of where things ended, in the end, I am no worse off for having navigated the Railroad thread.

Does it really matter if he hurt someone's feelings or was trolling. If you take the big picture view, the story he tells seems to be corroborated in many instances and he shined a bright light on things we weren't even discussing at the time. meanwhile the current prophet is a member of skull and bones. Who cares about agf when the whole thing is burning down and he happens to have given some insight as to why....

It’s too bad some of the evidence has been erased. Makes it harder to make a good judgement.
