I have no idea who John P. Pratt is, but I stumbled upon his website about a year ago. He wrote this article entitled, "The Great LDS Test." He hits on a few key points. I found them to be quite insightful:
https://www.johnpratt.com/items/docs/2021/lds_test.html
———
1. Law of the Land
2. Social Conditioning
3. COVID Conditioning
4. No Borrowed Light
5. LDS Conditioning
6. Two Churches Only
7. Conclusion: Many LDS Church members, especially those who have researched the so-called COVID "pandemic" in some depth, are somewhat confused by the recent statement by the First Presidency of the Church urging them to receive the experimental vaccine, becoming part of a massive test to see if it works. Perhaps the most disturbing part of the statement is quoting the official government line that the vaccine has been "proven safe and effective". When the vaccine was released, the FDA did not state that it was safe nor effective, but was being released in the "experimental" stage because of the immediate need due to the pandemic. Thus, the LDS statement appears to be merely repeating government propaganda.
Members who have done no research and who believe the LDS presidency are "prophets, seers, and revelators" may now be at ease that finally they have been told what to do, but many of those who know more facts about the unproven experimental nature of the vaccine are now wondering how to proceed.
The prophecies of Heber C. Kimball predicted that there would be a Great Test coming to the LDS people which would cause many to fall because they followed a man rather than taking the Holy Spirit to be their guide. It is here suggested that the new declaration may be part of that test, whether intentional or not on the part of the First Presidency. It would be a hard test indeed for many LDS members, just as Heber prophesied, to go against Church leaders in order to follow the voice of the Lord.

He was a brilliant astronomy professor in Utah and an expert in ancient calendar systems. He interacted with the Snuffer movement a bit before being baptized by Mauricio Berger in Brazil, whom he believed to be the reincarnated Joseph Smith. He was able to handle Mauricio's gold plates. He was later called by a revelation given to Mauricio to become the Davidic Servant and a counselor in that presidency. This was pretty recent, but then, maybe a year ago, he suddenly passed away.Reluctant Watchman wrote: ↑October 21st, 2022, 9:16 am I have no idea who John P. I don't think anyone knows how to access and update his website with the news of his passing. I don't support his second restoration activities but I got a copy of his book on God's calendar from him just before he died.

So, the test is to NOT be a blind cult member. I suppose Democrats and Republicans face the same test. This is a pretty low bar, really.

There are some really good articles on his website, I think he wrote "King Brigham", I really like that one. He did make the wrong choice there at the end, but at least he was always actively trying and leading the way. He was a great example of being an 'agent unto yourself'.
