There’s that mushy terminology again.

Elder Holland, what’s the difference between an apostolic witness, and my witness?
The real truth is that an apostolic witness is one wherein the person has seen the suffering, crucifixion, and resurrection of Christ in vision. If you have seen that, you have an apostolic witness (don't ask the source; I forget. Possibly in some institute class years ago).

Yet I’ve seen the Priesthood in full operation outside the Church 🤔

Either I believe what I’ve personally witnessed, or your statement here.

I think you probably have to use a lot more aliteration in your public speaking for your witness to be as apostolic as his. As far as I can tell, that’s the difference.
😂😂.... Oh pazooka, you sure know how to make us chuckle
And you, my friend, get the Pazooka Good Sportsmanship award. You’re awesome that way.

Meanwhile, I think we have a strong contender for the best tie. I had a hunch it might turn out to be him:
I have that exact tie in my closet. Been wearing it for the past 5 years.
You clearly have good taste

I'm not trying to be nit-picky. I really liked this talk. But I find and increasingly glaring incongruence between the words and deeds of this church, and an increasing division inside the church because of our reluctance to call out certain ideologies and behaviors as sin.
Go to an actual Church.

It will be a breath of fresh air. Oh there are actual men who are church leaders who call sin for what it is and are not placating with cotton candy . . .man it's nice.

Anyone who thinks the Church has not radically changed conduct the following experiment.

Go tell your non-LDS friends and colleagues that we have openly homosexual missionaries. Just see what reaction you get.

Fear the time when revelation will be used to straighten back the Church.

Remember D&C 1:24--31. That should be enough to tell you the Lord reigns. The sieve is being set up as we speak. Soon enough the Lord will speak. Fear that day, One thing is for sure: only the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has the priesthood of God. In spite of having such pitiful elders and priests. Anyone who puts this in doubt will end up knowing it is true, even if too late.
I'm not asking for new revelation to be used to straighten out the church.

I'm simply asking our Church leaders to stand for what has already been revealed in a clear and authoritative way.
I just want the TRUTH...ALL OF IT!!!

The truth about church history
The truth about the deadly-jab
The truth about Joseph Smith
The truth that prophets CAN and have lead people astray

ANYONE can preach of Jesus...even Jim and Tammy Baker did that.

COME CLEAN...TELL THE COMPLETE TRUTH ABOUT EVERYTHING...let the chips fall where they will.

I know...won't happen...for the good of the corporation.

Oaks first twist the question in to a question he likes by "interpretating" the question to be about getting a testimony like Alma the younger where an angel or a heavenly being appeared. Oaks says he has never had an experience like Paul did or Alma the younger and he doesn't know of anyone in the 12 who has. He thinks things like an angel appearing or Jesus appearing like to Paul is exceptional and that God gave these special experiences to "get our attention" (btw, such a retarded thing to assert as an apostle) and Oaks has a powerful implication that these are not to be expected and that a testimony (his twisting of the original question so he is making an argument of irrelevance in context) like Alma the younger can be had without the experiences of Alma the younger.

AKA, Dumb

Wouldn’t the organist be facing the conductor? I’ll have to verify next song.

Russell M Nelson wrote: I love you. May God be with you till we meet again.
He became emotional when he said this. It doesn’t look to me like this will be his last conference though someone else posted earlier they thought his Sunday morning talk seemed like it would be his last. Maybe it will be and maybe he knows this. Though it could merely be that he truly loves us (I believe he does) and that the closing song is God Be With You Till We Meet Agains.
