SeekingYHWH LuniSolar Calendar
I'm excited my calendar app is now live on google play store
Find the weekly, moonly, and yearly sabbaths using the Sun and the Moon along with the Spring Equinox for the start of the year and shadows for the important times of the day such as Between the Evenings.

Re: SeekingYHWH LuniSolar Calendar
I downloaded it, but I was not able to put in a year I wanted to look at - so far.
So how does this Lunar Solar Calendar work? It appears that it starts on a Spring Equinox.
Maybe you could tell me what day of the week the 3rd of April, 33 AD is. What day is the Lunar full moon in this month and year?
I have been working on a paper of the correct calendars and days of the week, to determine the true Crucifixion and Resurrection Day, as well as the correct day of the Sabbaths.

Re: SeekingYHWH LuniSolar Calendar
The program doesn't go that far back because I don't want to deal with the issues with Oct 1582.
This is how the free mode works:
The day starts at sunrise, the moonth starts the sunrise after the dark conjunction, the year starts at the moonth after the spring equinox.
https://seekingyhwh.org/resources/sabbaths/
The Roman calendar at the time of Yeshua's mortal ministry had 8 days not 7. https://seekingyhwh.org/resources/calendar-changes/. YHWH's calendar is NOT the Roman/Pagan/Catholic/Gregorian Calendar.

Did you ever have the chance to soak to John Pratt?
He clearly states that the 7 day pattern has never been broken. Doesn’t mean some folks can’t set up calendars with more or less “days”, of course.
If I can dig up an Android device I’ll take a look at your app. Highly interested in this stuff.

Yes I am aware of how the Romain Calendar worked, in that it did not work before AUC 708 (46 BC), but with the adoption of the Julian Calendar in 46 BC (January 1st AUC 709) we have a seven day calendar though which we can easily calculate dates and days of week, even though it was started by a Pagan/Gentile. We can look back at past events within this time frame, up to today with relatively certainty of reliable accuracy.SJR3t2 wrote: ↑September 24th, 2022, 11:55 pm The program doesn't go that far back because I don't want to deal with the issues with Oct 1582.

The problem with the different calendars, the Julian vs the Gregorian calendars is the different times different countries adopted the latter over the first, so that when something had a date, most times it did not state which calendar was used. In 1582 AD, Pope Gregory XIII promulgated a minor modification to reduce the average length of the year from 365.25 days to 365.2425 days by reducing one of the leap days per different centuries. He also advanced the date by 10 days: Thursday 4 October 1582 was followed by Friday 15 October 1582, to bring the calendar back into harmony with the spring equinox.
Interesting, that you have decided to make a Lunar/Solstice hybrid calendar. I think I would say 'New Moon' verses 'Moonth' when speaking of the starting new moon cycle, just to helping others by using the more common generically used terms.

The calendar the world uses today is that it only has two types of days on it, and scriptures shows that there are three types of days. https://seekingyhwh.org/resources/sabbaths/Kingdom of ZION wrote: ↑September 25th, 2022, 9:36 am Yes I am aware of how the Romain Calendar worked, in that it did not work before AUC 708 (46 BC), but with the adoption of the Julian Calendar in 46 BC (January 1st AUC 709) we have a seven day calendar though which we can easily calculate dates and days of week, even though it was started by a Pagan/Gentile. Re: SeekingYHWH LuniSolar Calendar
I've read his works, and I disagree with him on much. Even Karaite Jews admit that they don't know such things. But seriously look into the calendar history and how it has changed, and it still changes for some people, most notably around the international date line. https://seekingyhwh.org/resources/calendar-changes/endlessismyname wrote: ↑September 25th, 2022, 12:14 am Did you ever have the chance to soak to John Pratt?

He is even claiming the Myan calendar is YHWH's calendar now, and Bible and BoM shows us that YHWH calendar uses the moon.
Genesis 1:14 And God [Elohim] said, Let there be LIGHTS [SUN and MOON] in the firmament of the heaven to DIVIDE the DAY FROM the NIGHT; and let them be for signs, and for SEASONS [MOED: appointed times/meetings], and for DAYS, and YEARS:
Genesis 1:16 And God [Elohim] made TWO GREAT LIGHTS; the GREATER LIGHT [SUN] to rule [dominate] the day, and the LESSER LIGHT [MOON] to rule [dominate] the night: He made the stars also [stars rule nothing, but they do teach the Gospel see Mazzaroth].

It was a Friday and a full moon occurred on that day too.Kingdom of ZION wrote: ↑September 23rd, 2022, 10:51 pm I downloaded it, but I was not able to put in a year I wanted to look at - so far.

Re: SeekingYHWH LuniSolar Calendar
Rome did not have a Friday in their calendar at this time, they have an 8 day week consisting of letters A - H. On top of that when the week was changed to a 7 day week, Fridays was initially the 7th day of the week and Saturday was the 1st.
