Is there a collection of revelations?
The obvious signs have given me a recent increased interest in this subject. That is how I came across this forum. I have read through quite a few threads and found some very interesting prophecies from past GA's and even members such as the patriarch from Tonga named Iohani Wolfgramme. So, my questions is...is there a site that has a good collection of these? Even better, is there one that has additional information that could help substantiate the credibility of the various revelations. Some must have more weight than others.
Thank you
Thank you

Re: Is there a collection of revelations?
I've heard that the ldsavow site (paid subscription) has some of these revelations put together (am I aloud to mention that site here?
). There are a couple of members of this board that also frequent the avow board so maybe they can tell you their thoughts. There are those who don't feel a paid membership to a website containing revelations and such is appropriate and so there will be no shortage of contention if we end up discussing that particular site. I personally have never seen it and have found plenty here to keep me occupied. Anyhow, I once got a hold of a book of dreams, revelations, and prophecies that was put together by the avow site but if you're looking to substantiate any of the revelations you find anywhere, good luck. Not saying that any of it is false, but most of it you'll never know for sure unless you get some sort of witness. It seems like even the prominent revelations from early church leaders are hard to substantiate due to poor record keeping or other circumstances regarding the origins or recording thereof. It's unfortunate but that has been my experience.

You can check out these sites.

As far as AVOW I once was a member I tried the one month automatic renewal just to try it out and he charge me for the next month two week before it was due. When I tried to cancel he gave me a really hard time about it and didn't want to refund my money then he terminated me because I told him I would contact my credit card company if he didn't refund my money. So I paid for a month that I didn't want and didn't get to use. I also never got my money back. So be careful on what plan you chose to go with. As far as the site they have some interesting stuff. I just didn't want to keep on paying $15 bucks a month for it.
There are some good books that you can read also.
"Prophecy, Key to the Future" by Duane S. Crowther
"As a Thief in the Night..." by Roger K. Young
"The Coming of the Lord" by Gerald N. Lund

Re: Is there a collection of revelations?
Wolfgrams daughter wrote a bio on her father before he died. It is on the BYU website if you want to read it. It is in PDF form I have read it. He was a wonderful man. One of the prophecies he reportedly made is not in this book. It was written by a supposed friend of his who heard him say it. So be careful to separate fact from fiction.

Re: Is there a collection of revelations?
Isn't the avow site run by Roger K Young? I think he's very sincere. He's published a number of books on the subject of the Last Days. I think some of his sources are dubious and he comes to some conclusions about things that are his opinion only and might not be correct. There are many wonderful books written about prophecy and the Last Days from very reputable authors. Go to Deseret Book and Seagull Book and also check out Cedar Fort publishers. I trust the ones with verified statements. When items comes from a third or 4th removed source, then I'm a little more skeptical.
I've found that RK Young has come to some conclusions that I don't particularly support. If you can get past that, it is interesting reading.
