Poll here on Word of Wisdom outliers.
I'll lay my cards on the table here: I drink non-alcoholic beer, but not decaff coffee for example.
Any others? Or less? Discuss below.

None of them. I didn't see that as a choice.

Do you mean which ones should be "official"? Like temple recommend questions? Or which ones do we interpret to be in D&C 89?
I didn't vote because I don't know... it's too hard. LOL Also I view the WoW as "not by commandment", so if I was to put green tea in there, it wouldn't mean, to me, that someone could never have green tea. The Word of Wisdom even says to use wine for the sacrament. So there are exceptions and, well, it's not by commandment or by constraint.

WOW is not a commandment. But you will be punished if you don't obey. Yep.

I'm another "none of the above."
Betel nut is an issue in Indonesia and other areas. I've read that Mormons can be identified because their teeth aren't dyed from chewing betel nut. It's supposed to be a pretty powerful stimulant.
I've also heard that yerba mate and kava use is a concern in S. American and Pacific Island areas. I think these haven't been addressed because the Church is in a laissez faire mode with many things --- not wanting to rock the boat of discord and unrest. Ditto with marijuana in Western countries. If the Church really went to the mat and took a stand on some of these, there would be a lot of pushback, so the Church avoids the topic altogether. We also haven't heard about many, many things that used to be emphasized in the 80s and 90s and prior (e.g., women working, tithing, inappropriate media, etc.). Heck --- when's the last time pornography and masturbation have been brought up at all by the Church? I think WoW items are similar to these as far as how they really aren't brought up much any more.

I could only fit in 15 options, but it probably comes under the "less" comment I made above.

I think it depends on the person. Seek the Lord and find the revelation for you and your body. It is between you adn the Lord. The key is to seek.

It's not what goes into the man but what comes out of him. If you feel the Lord telling you to stay away from certain things than THAT is your word of wisdom. IF you didn't listen and chose to put something into you that turns you into an asshat...then you obviously didn't listen very well.

In my case, I felt I had to stay away from Red Bull etc.

Well, it was interfering with my heart rhythm in my twenties, so that was a major deterrent.
The funny thing is I actually like Red Bull as a company because they put money into a lot of interesting minority sports.

I developed a serious problem drinking these things when starting to do shift-work about 7 years ago. I became most irritable, aggressive and was easily cranked up. By the time I noticed that my behaviour had changed for the worse I knew that others around had noticed it a long time before me. I stopped drinking them and my mood improved considerably.

I've often wondered about the covenant Jehovah made with the Israelites regarding diet. We Gentiles seem to have been given a similar, but less stringent law we call the WoW. Is that what "the weakest of Saints" refers to in the WoW?

Dietary laws are of the lesser law.
We weren't given a dietary law. LDS false traditions are the only thing in work here
Drinking coffee doesn't make you unholy or unworthy. It doesn't lessen the Spirit or disqualify.
Believing that partaking of tea, coffee, beer, wine, meat, tobacco, etc. are sins in themselves (or disqualifiers) is simply a lack of understanding the words of Jesus Christ (high law).

I'm halfway there on your first two statements and wholly agree on the other two.

Ban everything besides energy drinks. Man should live only upon the words of Christ, and Monster energy drinks. Anything more or less than this is evil.

WOW seems so......"entry level" after what I've been through.
I will say....it's ok to start out with the basics of this law- but not to stay there. Don't be a Saint that has to be compelled in all things - seek out revelation for yourself.
I'll just add this: in the 1950's, it was discovered white sugar was the cause of high blood cholesterol. The sugar industry didn't like this discovery so they paid researchers to cover up the study. And for years, doctors all over the USA were telling people that "red meat = high cholesterol". The real original study was only uncovered in 2000's - 2010? It will probably take 20 years (the industry norm) for it to filter down to your doctor. You can look at this up - the NYT did an article about it a few years ago.
If you really listen to the Spirit - in all things - including what you eat - you cannot stay at the entry level of the W.O.W. It's slothful, and it's not what God wants. There are no "plateaus" in the Gospel.

Well, I've never shopped at Walmart, but a lot of the stuff on supermarket shelves doesn't even pretend to come from a cow anymore.
The biggest switch and bait in recent history has to be claiming that industrial-plant based food out of some factory is greener than animals raised in open fields. The ingredients even come from multiple countries.

I did for a few years - until my supplier moved to florida, so now I'm drinking some menonite stuff that is barely "legal". lol. When I get situated in the cabin, I'll re-evaluate.
