Madison Police Officer Saves Child's Life Save Email Print

Incident report from Madison Police Department:

On Thursday, at 8:24 p.m., Madison Police Officer Scott Frasier was dispatch to an apartment on the 4700 Bl Dutch Mill Rd for a 1-yr old infant who was not breathing and didn't have a pulse.

Upon his arrival Officer Frasier performed CPR on the infant and was able to revive him before other help arrived.

The infant was transported to a Madison hospital.

What? An evil Cop saved a child's life? CHH says Cops are all evil.

One of our very close friends is a police officer. He does it because he loves helping people. He spent some time as a detective, but decided that he preferred being in the trenches so to speak. He's had some pretty scary situations that he has dealt with in a way few people would be willing to do, including stopping an armed man a couple years ago, who sadly took his own life, but thankfully he stopped him before he took someone else's. He maneuvered the man to stop and ended up door to door and he found himself staring this disturbed person down seconds before he turned the gun on himself. It's a sacrifice for the family... there isn't a lot of pay for a police officer, and it's a dangerous job.

Anyway, the nature of the job can attract some people who join for the wrong reasons, which is a shame - but it's certainly not a hard and fast rule. We have lots of good police officers out there.

I know plenty of Police officers, 99.9% are good people most I would call friend.

I'm not so fortunate. But I still consider about 70% of the ones I know to be good folks. However, almost none are as idealistic as many imagine them to be.

I guess thats better than the majority of the Population.
