More on those "poor" people. According to the reports below, it can cost anywhere from $500 to $10,000 dollars just to cross the actual border, depending on where you want to cross. America spends billions in travel to Mexico and has many factories there. Much foreign aid as well is given to countries in the western hemisphere along with tourism and manufacturing.

America accepts way too many legal immigrants now, however we have about 20 million who are here illegally and we are paying a terrible price on every level. It is a large part of the destruction of a nation. Yes, DESTRUCTION!

One of my friends said she thinks that the church supports the illegals coming here because it’s one of the ways Israel is being gathered.

No scripture says that you're suppose to wait in Utah for them to be gathered . . . also the gathering is in Independence and I would maybe, feel different if Gov Abbot sent them there . . but . . the gentiles are supposed to go out and gather them . . not wait for them to respond to an internet challenge question from the church

I watched a video with him a few days ago. I don't know if he's trying to make a cute political statement, but I agree with what he actually said - That he's sending them to DC so that the central gov't who wants them here can help them to their hearts' content (paraphrased). And spring is coming - or even here in some places - so they shouldn't freeze.

It's not cute, it's political warfare. It makes an effective point and it is exactly what the federal government is doing to communities around the country.

A society, more specifically a community can only absorb so many immigrants before they overwhelm the resources, the laws, the culture, etc. of that community. Practically speaking, at some point it may become a choice of survival or collapse.

I don't like using people as pawns either. Perhaps the threat is enough.

If I were governor I would make the threat as well to try to bring awareness and to make the point. But I would first try to find a better more humane tactic.

States should deal with the federal government more ruthlessly and stand up for States' rights more.

They are only poor in brain power. With help wanted signs every ten feet, only people that want to be are unemployed. They chose to come here for the sole purpose of depleting our resources and being freeloaders. They have nothing to offer. We have enough shop lifters, graffiti writers, drug dealers, and thugs.
