Mexico City unleashes measurement of violence against transgendered people

South of the border, one person might think that Mexico is this super socially-conservative place, and to a large extent, that is indeed the case. Even those on the hard political left in Mexico do not like woke ideology, for the most part.

But Mexico City is a completely different case. There is not a single place in all of Latin America that is more woke than Mexico City is.

I present to you the Mexico City Government's latest foray into woke ideology: The Meter of Violence against Transgenders:

It goes from step 1 to step 24. Even if you are step 1 you can be accused of provoking violence against transgendered individuals.

Here is my translation of the meter:

1. Deny their true identity as they see it. In other words, calling them a man when they insist on being called a woman or vice versa, calling them a woman when they insist on being called a man.
2. Transphobic commentaries. Words like "@#$%@!", "man-butterfly" (marimacho), "abnormal", or "homo".

What if you simply want to IGNORE them and not do anything? Can't do so, because that's the next level of violence!
3. Ignoring them.
4. Disqualify (making commentaries like "He can't participate in this event because he's a man"
5. Intimidation
6. Rejection in the family. In other words, if your son comes back from school one day and declares himself to be a girl, you must accept it, or you will be accused of fomenting violence against the transgender community. Same goes if your daughter comes back and insists she's a boy.
7. Excluding them from public spaces
8. Deny them rights because of their declared identity
9. Prohibit their participation in activities (bye bye women's sports if this is permitted to go down)
10. Deny them the right to work
11. Put obstacles in front of their right to form a family as they see fit (kind of tough to do with the incorrect appliances, oh! I just committed another act of violence right there and if I lived in Mexico City, I could have the cops at my door!)
12. Sexual harassment
13. Threaten them
14. Kicking them out of your house or apartment
15. Try to destroy their personal property
16. Domestic Violence
17. Hitting them
18. Sexual abuse
19. Rape
20. Conversion Therapy (Apparently, if a missionary were to go by and tell them that they can convert themselves to their true identity, that is worse than sexual abuse and rape!)
21. Mutilate
22. Kidnapping, robbing them of their free movement
23. Disappearance, to make them disappear
24. "Transfemicide". Apparently, all cases of violence against transgendered people will be classified as femicide of the trans variety.

I often wonder what is the end goal of this push is?

Reduced population? Attack religions? Create chaos and confussion? Political power? Or is this an extension of a spiritual war?

I actually doubt that. Mexico City has been on this woke trajectory for the past nearly 20 years. The rest of the country has not really seen this wokeness save for the people that are deported from the United States that work in the call centers. Ask a common Mexican about everything going on, and NONE of them want these things to happen.

I think it is the last choice there. Also, to a degree, the second choice.

There are many videos of these feminists attacking diverse churches down there and in other regions of Latin America.

Mexico, as a whole, is still quite conservative. Places like Chile, Argentina, and Uruguay, are now quite liberal and are significantly more woke than Mexico.

Most of us don't want this to happen here either...

These guys love to attack churches. Mostly the Catholic churches get it the most. But on occasion, our churches get it too, like on this occasion in Chile a few years back:

You will notice that one of the paintings says "Yankees OUT of Latin America!!!" which is a primary reason why the Church wants to be seen as more of a global institution rather as a uniquely American church.

Sterilisation and making sure the peasantry fights among themselves and don't look at the top.
