The Rumor is around Heavenly Mother, and a 'heavenly hush' about her. The inappropriateness of praying to Heavenly Mother and that the use of heavenly parents is all lower case. We'll see but that's the only rumor I hear rumbles about.
I have a super devout friend who told me last year that she prays to Heavenly Mother. I had never even heard about that before or since.
We had Mother's Day/Mothering Sunday last week, and one of the speakers was promoting this more or less.

It has done no such thing. That's why most got it and know that that's not the issue you've invented.
Suppose for example that the hundreds of thousands of people have been whacked by the jab is a true, verifiable number. Not simply an estimate but something definitely catalogued.
There have been more Covid vaccines applied than there are people living on the Earth.
The death rate of the vaccine would be about 1 per MYRIAD.
The verifiable numbers of Coronavirus indicate a death rate of about 1 percent.
Then you have the issue of grabbing the numbers from each and every vaccine. The truth is we simply do not have the numbers to make these claims. This would be preferable than making an emotional statement against all vaccines in general or even all COVID vaccines in general.
If we could verify the numbers spouted off by RedPilled, we could still see the vaccines are better, but then we get to the next question: which vaccines
I guess you missed the memo of insurance companies reporting a 40% increase in deaths of 18 to 64 year old since the jab rollout. Not covid related.

All kinds of causes of death are up. Homicides are way up. Overdoses are up. Suicides are up. Is the vax causing all of these homicides?
I've discussed the vaers data many times. It still lists gun shot wounds and drownings of they're within a few days of the vax. I still don't understand why anyone would rely on this kind of data.

Which, as anyone who grew up in the 80's knows--after all the "the 80's were so GREAT!!!!! I wish I could have grown up then!!" wishings recently--weren't always so good.
I know 80s nostalgia is so strong they decided to revive the Cold War.

“Today I reaffirm strongly that the Lord has asked every worthy, able young man to prepare for and serve a mission. … For you young and able sisters, a mission is also a powerful, but optional, opportunity.” -Russell Nelson
And yet, none in the first presidency served a full-time mission.
I hadn't realised that.
A tad hypocritical methinks.
While you won't generally find me defending the GA's, in this case I think we need to be fair. There was this little thing called WWII followed by the Korean War. Looking at my husband's very True Blue Mormon family, in his father's generation, out of many brothers, only one served a mission (and I think he was the youngest, and it took a divine intervention to put him out in the mission field) but the rest served in the war effort. No, there was no missionary deferment available during the war. That came later. Nelson was finishing medical school, then it was out into the medical units (in his case I believe he went right to Walter Reed hospital as a surgeon.) Oaks was stateside serving as Nat'l Guard, I think, and Eyring was Air Force serving simultaneously as a district missionary. Because we have been doing these little fake wars since then, younger folks don't realize it was all hands on deck for the war effort during WWII and for a few years afterwards. IF you weren't in the military of some kind, people would have been looking at you like what the heck was the matter with you, and they drafted a lot of older men, also. And if you were home, you could expect to be buying "war bonds" and having just about everything rationed to support the war effort. Most of the missions were all shut down during the war, anyway. Most all of these men married right before going out or during the war, because who knew if they were coming back alive? Many didn't.
Even my newly wed mother-in-law was working in the ship yards in California, and my mother was working doing civil service jobs in the naval ports on the west coast since her husband was deployed out of them.
Pres. Nelson was born around 1925. There was clearly an opportunity for him to serve a mission after WWII and well before the Korean conflict.

I sensed a great urgency as well..many recuring themes about change, family, and gathering Israel/laboring in the mission field.....the afternoon session I thought was reaffirming to what I have been thinking for a while now.....a great plague is sweeping the earth right now like a tidal wave...and it's not the pandemic....maybe its the worldview some have is too myopic....this is a time for preparation to meet our Savior and future...so in that context the gospel is really personal and family centric.....the church is just an earthly structure to facilitate us on the path...the progress on the path is up to each of us and our own families.....i also believe there are contingents of members and non members who are subverting the mission of the gospel in the cob and elsewhere....and even though the church may be off track because of the imperfections of good and bad people trying to direct the paths of the church.....the church will still end up accomplishing the tasks of the master, our Lord and Saviour....as all things will work for our good even though mortality is very messy.....the natural man is alive and well and the brethren are still talking about him....or her....change can happen repentance was a topic......maybe the issue about gathering Israel is that we have been commanded to do that to usher in the second coming. The time to labor is short but we must finish strong regardless of the depravity and wickedness of each of us and the world as a whole....sometimes you just have to push through with what you have....even if it isn't ideal....i believe that's where we are....i have a calm and peaceful feeling after hearing the afternoon session....but my expectations are not that the first pres tells me every move to make...i get to choose and navigate this on my own terms.......I feel like the strategic plan under the direction of the Saviour for perilous times is in place and the time for committees to do planning, discussion and input are over.....the variable scenarios have been considered and now the silence being perceived is not lack of harping or caring...it's just that all the leaders and participants should know what the plan is and just do it.....implement the plan... as bro Ochoa asked, "is it working for you?'. Thats a great question... I know what the desolating sickness/plague covering the land is and it's the opposite of humility......time is short to choose brothers and sisters......this thread has made President Nelson's use of the word myopic stand out to me.....while out of the context in which he used it...it seems relevant here in this microcosm of the internet......

I've never attended a German LDS service so can't vouch for that, but the term is much more common in German parlance than its English equivalent AFAIK

The Lord has given you, personally, an invitation to come unto Him for peace in this life, and eternal life in the world to come.
Great message from President Eyring. Jesus Christ is the way, the only way. Any other way is foolishness.
And when Jesus made a whip… and scattered the accepted, tolerance of money changers and shop keepers providing convenience at the temple to let members sacrifice per the law…
Is that being peaceable…??
First of all, President Eyring is preaching following Christ, and having Him as our rock, at the pulpit, while ushering Christ's flock steadily toward Babylon, and trusting in the arm of flesh to get the vaccines. Hypocrisy at the highest levels of the Church. I listened to a part of his talk, and wondered at the boldness and mockery of his words, because his actions are the exact opposite of Christ's. So, I guess the other way, the First Presidency is in actuality leading the Saints, is indeed foolishness.
Good point about the whip that Jesus made.
Matthew 10:34-36
34 “Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.
35 For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.
36 And a person’s enemies will be those of his own household.
I think Christ is anxious to have us wield the sword of truth right now. While all we get at General Conference is pablum (bland baby food). What the Church needs to survive and become the Zion of the last days, is preaching repentance, with fiery, bold sermons like the Prophets of old. It is not pretty or safe. It costs lives, sometimes. But, we are told that the Servants of God are willing to lay down their lives in defense of the truth.
I thought of all those "Saints" crying for Jesus to be crucified. They thought they were doing the right thing, because their Priests told them Jesus violated their law. Same with those in the time of Joan of Arc. Is it so outlandish to imagine the same thing happening in our time. I have it on good authority, that the Church will be the one to "mar" the Lord's Servant, "beyond human likeness." And it will be because most believe the Servant is wicked. Read what Jesus tells the Nephites about this servant. The Doctrine and Covenants indicates he comes to set the Church in order.
The sword Jesus brings now, is the word that we need to hear, the truth about the compromising with Babylon that has led the Church astray. As far as I can see, it already is setting family members against each other. It will only become more pronounced.
agree, and . . if anyone can . ., .please give me scriptures that tell me that Jesus loves the sinner . . . he ate with sinners, but . . .not the same . . . he didn't drink their beer and schmooze their women . . . that's what the sinners expect these days. . . .
in fact, gays used to parade to get acceptance . . . . then they changed laws to get favors . . .now they just want our children and all of us to become one of them . . . the president of our USA and corporate leaders of entertainment want us to be LGBTQ . ., . . not just accept them . . .BUT BE them . ..
there is no longer any room in this world for those who are christian . . . where are our leaders . . .and their warnings . . . maybe art will contradict me on this one, too . . .

Not covid related.
...and the VAERS data memo
....and the DOD leaked information memo
...and that athletes are dying at record rates.
All this has been posted numerous times by numerous people on this forum, all verified information.
Yet...you say we don't have information.
WHY would you continue to say that??????
All kinds of causes of death are up. Homicides are way up. Overdoses are up. Suicides are up. Is the vax caused all of these homicides?
I've discussed the vaers data many times. It still lists gun shot wounds and drownings of they're within a few days of the vax. I still don't understand why anyone would rely on this kind of data.
Athletes are not dying are record rates. Please provide any study that suggests that.
There is simply no credible evidence for the extreme positions on here.
then, if you are not getting creditable information . . .why, my brother . . . are you on this forum . . posting and . . . reading
I know enough to know not to believe everything I read on the internet.

Depends on the sport. A lot of men are having issues in association football, and it's VERY noticeable. So much so that the media and FIFA are having to do damage control. However, I also watch rugby union and there seem to be far fewer issues there.
Likewise, I've been hearing about problems with cyclists, but not so much with swimmers. (One or two divers.)

He said it happened back in 2002. I wonder if his left arm will wither. I also wonder if Elder Bednar counseled him to have the faith not to be healed. Bitter fruits.
usually caused by a blood clot in the artery which blow out the vein and causes blindness . . .cure is injection of chemotherapy drug

So far, the only really jarring thing was the "pandemic of biblical proportions" I literally yelled at the TV "Oh, c'mon!" and was shushed by my sweet wife.
Other than that, pretty good. Not disagreeing with some of the complaints here, but also agree with those that say you find what you seek. We complain about the woke looking for reasons to be outraged, and then some of us watch conference with exactly that mindset.
I apply critical thinking to what I hear, and also try to feel the spirit and discern truth (and there has been plenty).

I know what the desolating sickness/plague covering the land is and it's the opposite of humility......time is short to choose brothers and sisters......this thread has made President Nelson's use of the word myopic stand out to me.....while out of the context in which he used it...it seems relevant here in this microcosm of the internet......
myopic is a word that has been used to insult people . . . those women on the view and other politicians use it frequently . . . I think I've heard Biden and Jen Snarky use it . . .
perhaps it is a good thing when our prophet uses it . . . he kinda sounds like Trump . . .always promising that we'll be back .. . . or we'll save the day . . .but no one knows the plan . . . not Trumps plan . . .not our prophets plan . . . except, maybe, the prophets . . . know the plan . . .
