Andersen’s talk… Does being a peacemaker trump standing for truth?
The fact that you think those are contradictory is the problem, not Elder Anderson's talk.
The fact that the Church is condoning and embracing Wickedness, and then trying to claim that this is Christ-like behavior is the crux of the issue. They have let the nose of the camel into the tent. The road to hell is paved with good intentions.
It has never embraced wickedness. It has told people not to hate people, even if they're sinners. People don't seem to be able to understand the difference.
SMH.
What do you think they are doing when they are signing the Arizona bill that is the very definition of wickedness. This bill literally bans Conversion Therapy for those struggling with SSA (even if the individual is requesting this). So, rather than love our brothers and sisters and give them a tool that can actually help them overcome their SSA issues, the church instead embraces a bill that ensures that those struggling with SSA never get the help they need.
How about the Church supporting WEF, Agenda 2030, New World Order. The church provides support to multiple organizations that use this money for murdering babies.
How about their support for BLM, which by FBI"s own definition is literally a domestic terrorist group, though TPTB would never admit it.
If you can't see that the Church is literally supporting wickedness by now, you need to open your eyes.

Report - finances only. Church membership and baptisms, not mentioned.
Sister Eubank is being released - effective 1 Aug 2022. As far as I could tell, we were not asked to provide a sustaining vote (just a vote of thanks as she is being released).

Yes, the Church is embracing wickedness. They wrote a check to an organization that actively promotes abortion. They have taken the word “homosexuality” out of the Handbook. They have given millions of dollars to pro-lgbtq organizations in Utah. They have told members that it’s fine and dandy if they promote gay marriage on social media. Shall I go on?
They give groups money for limited purposes, but you're upset that those groups use other money for other purposes?
You're triggered by the church replacing the word "homosexual" with "same sex"?
They haven't said it's "fine" to promote gay marriage. They've only ever said to love people, despite them being wrong about things.

Conversion therapy hasn't been terribly effective. It's no real loss.
Most of the WEF, NWO talk is paranoia. I'm glad the church doesn't share it.
They don't support the BLM organization. They support the idea of loving everyone.

Well, after Anderson's talk, the ladies I sparred with on Facebook are no doubt gloating. Especially when I ended the conversation by saying maybe the subject will be addressed at General conference
What did Anderson say? I don't watch it.

The ban applies to minors. I don't think it's helpful to focus on anything like that with kids. Adults can do whatever they want.
Ether 8 refers to real criminal organizations that have and do have great control over governments in Lamanite countries.
You're welcome to show where they supported the BLM organization.

An Apostle said, in a televised press conference, that members could support gay marriage on social media, and among family and friends, without being in danger of losing their temple recommend. That equals “fine” to me.
