Make speed limit 55 MPH!
We have speed limits of 20 mph in some urban areas now.

SH 130 toll road from Austin to Seguin 85mph. Many areas we drive are posted at 70. Your doors are blown off if you go the actual posted speed.

I was making a joke, when we had an energy crisis in late 70's the answer (other than a failed rescue attempt in Iran) was to lower the speed limit to 55 MPH to save tons of gas (not) and to lower heat in offices to 68 and AC to 75.

The new ‘lockdown’. Not sure how well that could work here. I wouldn’t be a bit surprised in any case. Both my son & I have dreamed of riding horseback or driving horse drawn wagons to find feed grain, seed, transport injured people & transact essential tasks.
Round trip to church is 126 miles. It would take two days to get one way by horse. Without internet we might well be left to rely upon ‘messengers from our Father’.
Nobody is telling us, but it would be interesting to know where that 1.5 million barrels of sweet crude per day being pumped from the Bakken to the Gulf Coast is ending up. (Multiply 1 barrel of crude by. 42 to determine how many gallons that is.) And...we have refineries in our state.
Hasn’t brought our gas prices down one whit and we have the privilege of having DAPL plowing through our watershed 3 1/2 miles upstream of our water sources, & under our main flowing water rivers & streams - including the Missouri River. Seems like the taxpayers might want to know.

People have their head in the sand and do not want to know.

Think of how heaven would bless the earth if we were all forced to obey the Sabbath.

Does anyone ever consider how much fossil fuel would be available if all those white military tankers stopped playing ticktacktoe overhead, spraying conductive metal aerosols and compromising soil PH requiring even more fossil fuel chemicals to force the earth to give forth GMO corn used to make ethanol for cars and vodka for alcoholics?
Hey, just shut down all those empty buildings with their lights blazing during the night in our 'great cities'! The night satellite images are an affront to God. The combination of cellular emf with constant exposure to artificial light, sound, & imagery is further compromising individual health, as well destroying the very plant & animal life meant to fully sustain us in mortality.

That was an interim measure while OTEC developed. Thing is Big Oil put the kibosh to Carter’s liberating plan, and we’ve continued bound to fossil fuels ever since. Oh well, it’s making for record PFD payments that will surely give tithing receipts a needed boost.

Has anyone come across info regarding abiotic oil?
The basic premise is that oil has nothing to do with dead dinosaurs or vast ancient shoeols of fish, but is a natural substance produced by the earth, and that as such there is a pretty limitless supply.
I have done a little reading on the subject but not nearly enough. I do remember reading about an old dry oil well which had been abandoned for many years, which was now producing oil again.

Abiotic oil concept starts to make sense when considering the abundance of methane on other planets and objects in space.

This, here. If Heaven would bless us for
compelled obedience, Lucifer would be our savior. If compulsion by a savior Lucifer be undesirable, how much more so compulsion by the Gadianton robbers who have usurped our government! I fully agree with the sentiment about the Sabbath, however. It's pretty easy to avoid major pitfalls in Sabbath observance, but I'm surprised at some of the justifications I've seen many saints give for hitting those pitfalls.
"We ordered a pizza for a new guest because we didn't really have anything else to eat." (lies)
"We went to the Waffle House to celebrate blessing our baby."
"We're out doing this completely secular thing as a family."

We used to have a standing invitation to the missionaries to come eat whenever they wanted. No advance warning needed. So we really did order pizza, quite often. It is quick and requires no preparation.
