How to make your own covenant with God

Do you wonder if you can make a covenant directly with God? You can.
Read Mosiah chapters 4-5.
Pay attention to what the people said and did and also the results of their actions in these chapters.
Make a plan of your own (something like):
Pour your heart out to Him ….explain your fears, desires, shortcomings, that you want to make a covenant, etc.
Express a desire for the remission of your sins and to be be baptized by the Holy Ghost.
Follow through with casting away your sins or other things that the spirit prompts.
Continue to pray, ask, listen, and act.
