It's not the only thing monitoring the Sun. Maybe they should check if it turbs up on other equipment.

Most likely. It is "stationary" with respect to SOHO, which is orbiting the sun. From the video, one can see how the stars move in the background. So if it was an alien ship or something, it would be orbiting sun with same orbital velocity as SOHO. That seems like a big coincidence. The simplest explanation is that it is some kind of image artifact, and that is why it is always in the same place in the picture.

Also, it is so close to sun yet it is completely dark. If it was a real object, it would be extremely strange that it is not reflecting sun's light at all.
