This weekend a general authority in my home stake's conference announced that we will be encouraging young, single adults without marriage or mission prospects to pursue their temple endowment.


Interestingly, he also suggested that a troubling trend the brethren are seeing a portion of the membership emphasizing and favoring the prospect of freedom and not Jesus Christ (or His gospel?). What has lead to their concerns about this? How will they react to us freedom-loving members gathering outside of chapels and opining, as our pilgrim and pioneer ancestors did, of its necessity and the current threat to it? Why the concern?

You're really gonna take a jab at agency? I mean, it's not surprising coming from a TBM. But still, God allows agency in all things. It's an eternal principle, and one in which the church doesn't have much interest in these days. And yes, there is still right and wrong.

I am going to go out on a limb here but I feel the need to . . . a couple months ago we reviewed, as a church, the creation story . . . I had really strange extreme thoughts about that creation and have never had these thoughts before . . .

first of all, I must state, and have always believed this, that sex has caused the MOST grief, pain, deception, corruption, evil, dark, malicious practices in this world, to say the least . . . this is not the first time I have felt this way . . . I could not even list the crimes and practices that make sex the enemy . . . . but I'll name a few . . .btw, I think it is in the number one for cause of divorce . . . rape, incest, traficking, abusing, molesting, self molesting, self loathe, fornication, adultery, beastiality, addictions, loss of respect of men and/or women, part of satan worship, part of worship of false gods, deception, ladder climbing, LGBTQ and soooooooooo many more . . just wanted to make my point of this being the number one cause of grief on this earth.

so . . .I read the scriptures . . . I go to the endowment . . . for sooo many years, I've done this . . . when the man was created . . . . God and Jesus made him from dust then breathed his spirit into him . . . NO sex was involved . . . .the Gods that we believe in . . .created male and female . . . NO sex involved . . .

is it possible that sex used to create mortal bodies is only a part of this fallen, corrupt, decadent world . . . . ?

now don't stop having sex or do anything drastic. . . but, hear me out . . . .

is it possible that when eve was told that she would conceive in pain . . . then she and adam suddenly realized that the manner in which Gods create, which he had been apart of, was lost to them also . . . and that this method of creation of mortals on the earth is actually a curse . . . sort of a curse

I'm not saying there is anything wrong with sex . . . just noticing for the first time in my life . . .that there is a real difference between how Gods create mortals and how mortal man creates a mortal body . . .

I'm even questioning the comment made across the GC pulpits. . . .sex is an expression of love between a man and a woman . . . . hmmm . . .maybe in this mortal world, but . . . .

what about when we are Gods ? Somehow, there is this almost hidden idea that we are going to have the best sex we have ever had in the next world . . .and that we need lots of women . . .and that polygamy will exist and all kinds of ideas . . . so . . . taught by members of this church

why is the plan taught to us in the temple and in our scriptures so clearly . . .why did I miss that for so many years? . . is it possible that the ideas of sex that have been promoted even over the pulpit . . .are of man ?

Is this drive that we have actually a curse rather than a blessing . . . . and, if Gods can create man that easily then where is the need for sex in the eternities . .

I understand that lots of Islam and Muslim teach sex in heaven . . .and when I think of what is taught over our pulpit then I always hear Oaks voice . . .dont know why . . . .

I really do believe that sex has been a curse regarding its use for evil . . . .however we have been blessed to be a part of creating mortals, I guess . . . it was designed into us . . and we just naturally have that happen . . . unless we find a way to stop it through our birth control methods . . .

so . . I am at a standstill of thinking that our thoughts of this method of creation is not what we have been taught and maybe it is a part of a lower order . . . just saying . . .maybe I need to change my way of thinking regarding sex

I have always believed that sex crimes do MORE damage to man than any other crime . . .sorry to be dreary . . .

afterthought ; I don't know about GC talks on misuse of sex . . . you know what I mean. . .cuz I'm just looking at crimes . . .and new knowledge that has not ever been proposed to me

however, I'm beginning to think that our GAs don't even know what they are talking about regarding sex most of the time . . . the few examples of remarriage speaks volumes if you ask me . . .

Our stake president has said over the years that we should treat the ensign issue of conference as sacred because it’s modern day scripture. We should study it everyday…..
Now he’s probably doing the same thing with the handbook.

This website is weird. I anticipate other changes/updates coming shortly. With many openly gay people the church is embracing it’s not hard to figure out what is coming.

Well, we know that Governor Cox is a TBM and does exactly what RMN says. Consequently, this is the result.

Gay sealings…I doubt it but they sure talk about it like its all ok. Once women have the priesthood gays will be sealed within 10 years. Women love the gay stuff (on average).
