Here's the contemporaneous report of Black's work on the campaign. He was merely one of dozens writing papers. That's it.

It doesn't matter what Black was called. It's straining at gnats. He was employed by the campaign for a season. 5 years after that he started with Burisma (which is likely controlled by Russia.) There's no evidence that Romney is getting anything out of Black's new job.

The thing everyone should notice is the blatant lie that was told, and is still being thrown around, that Romney's son was tied up in something like Hunter. Trump even tweeted the lie. It shows that TPTB running alt-right media (Kremlin) are targeting Romney with all these conspiracies, and my guess is it's because they know they can't control him.

Romney was right to decline getting mixed up with helping Trump, because it is a messy world of, "I helped you, now you owe me," mob mentality.
