Uh-oh, war ahead.

Post by tribrac »

Elon Musk announces Tesla will pay 3 months of salary to anyone conscripted to fight.

Conscripted is the aristocracy's way of saying poor kids are forced to fight other poor kids for the rich people.

This is how the aristocracy breaks bad news to us. A little at a time, ahead of the planned event or planned announcement In other words, Elon is previewing the future for you. Goes right along with Biden's nonsense that we should all be willing to sacrifice for Ukraine by paying more in the store and at the pump.

Two weeks to flatten the curve? How about 3 months conscription to beat Putin?

God save us.

Edit: I should have clarified Elon is currently only offering to Ukrainians conscripted. Not Russians. And not Pols or Hungarians or Americans....yet.

I'm about to get kicked out of service for refusing a vaccine... I wonder, will they only draft the unvaxxed? LOL

Also, glad to hear it's not just me that has a dumb kid. ;) I love all my kids, but one is definitely a leftist dummy.

If you are drafted, you will be injected whether you like it or not.

Never thought about this ... but if you're drafted, all you have to do is refuse the vaccine? Sounds like a win!

I don't think even the military can FORCE a draftee to take the Vaxx, so perhaps you're right - refuse the Vaxx = a WIN-WIN!

Can anyone explain how we would even get natural gas from Russia? We get natural gas from Canada via pipeline, you cannot truck the stuff. It will/is doubling like gas but for no reason other than greed.

That's a funny one to me. Biden "does the right thing" punishing Russia but also:

* Shut down the Keystone Pipeline, which would have solved the supply problem.
* Denied shale permits, which choked off domestic producers.
* Brought people into his administration who explicitly said their goal was to bankrupt big oil in the name of "sustainable energy".

But he's doing the right thing, folks, don't worry about it.

Exactly. Turned us from a net-energy exporter to reliant on foreign oil in a matter of a few months. It's about the only thing he has done very very well.

I cant believe how blantant Biden's lies are on Gas and food prices. No shame, no guilt, well that is expected from a life long politican and a democrat, but the quality of the lie is just an all time low. Its like they don't even care to try.

Inflation was there before Putin, everyone knows that. Lets keep reminding our friends and neighbors so the lie doesn't take root.

What mindless babbling. How did our news sources turn into the equivalent of High School Drill team? Its like each media member believes they will win some competition for slapping their thighs harder and keeping their show smile on while they dance to whatever music their masters choose. And always with an air of haughty self-importance.

Very biased article in DesNews... the editors say:
"We urge Americans to view higher prices as an opportunity to help Ukraine by significantly weakening the Russian economy and Vladimir Putin’s ability to wage war."

Here is a comment there, by Harrison Bergeron:

"This is the kind of silly statement I would expect from an uniformed commenter. But coming from an editorial board is absolutely stunning.

High oil prices help Putin period. For every $10pbl increase in price Russia’s GDP goes up 1.5%. This is a windfall for Putin’s war chest. So not only does this harm Americans but it harms Ukrainians and helps fund Putin’s war. There is nothing patriotic about it.

The only way to really hurt Putin is to drive down global oil prices by producing and exporting excess domestic supply. We did this during the Trump administration and drove the price of crude down to the $50pbl range. At that price Putin’s profits become puny.

We can do this again. We were the largest petroleum producer on the planet just a couple short years ago. The only thing in our way is a President who would rather see Americans suffer than pause his war on oil for a minute."

Of course. why does he even pretend to be a republican (not asking). Democrats are the party of death, war, chaos. he fits right in.

He'd probably order their first airstrike on the records showing his money laundering out of Ukraine.

Why does he pretend to be an American?
Why does he pretend to be a Christian?

Yes you can. The gas is compressed and shipped across the world by sea in special containers.

I also suspect the Deseret News article has ended any chance the church had to build their temple in Moscow.
