Ukraine Fear of 21,000 Chernobyl Nuclear Fuel Rods Exploding

Between 20,000 and 21,000 spent fuel rods are in pools to keep them cool and to cool down for dry storage. The Russian attack and taker over of of the Chernobyl Nuclear site has theft it with out power to keep the fuel rods in a safe cool down mode.

The Chernobyl damaged reactor is now safely confined thanks to the word and dedication of the 10,000 employees of NOVARKA (50% VINCI Construction Grands Projets, leader, and 50% Bouygues Travaux Publics) since the contract was signed in 2007. This project, stemming from the international ideas contest launched by Ukraine in 1992 and won by Campenon Bernard SGE (which later became VINCI Construction Grands Projets), allows both confinement and dismantling of the damaged reactor thanks to remote controlled tools installed inside the arch. The New safe Confinement has been built in front of the reactor, in a cleaned area, and then slid over 327 meters since the beginning of November 2016.

The new safe confinement leaks. Seems they are not too worried as water cools the rods. However, outside of the containment, they have lied for over 30 years about the radiation danger. Seems they kept on saying it was dangerous when it actually isn't. Secret documents reveal that some places are still hot, but many that are thought to be are not. The hydrogen in water slows the problems.

Ukraine informed the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Wednesday of "power loss" at the Russian-occupied Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant.

The atomic agency said, "the heat load of the spent fuel storage pool and volume of cooling water at Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant sufficient for effective heat removal without the need for electrical supply."

The whole place was shut down. Not just reactor #4. Thousands of people were killed from the radiation. The military was offered to reduce their 2 year commitment to just 2 minutes of cleanup if they chose to. They are all dead. No power was generated from the place since 1986.

Do you think that Russia would send troops to the area if the radiation would kill them? Maybe. But I don't think that is what the danger is. Those diesel backup generators have not been running for 30 years. There is more to this than they are telling us.
