Info: are we on different threads? Who are "these people"? this is about random people claiming to be prophets, you again on your own brought in LDS PSR's. It isn't about leadership, it is about people claiming to prophecy for the Lord.

“Truth is truth. Whether is comes from a scientific laboratory or it comes in revelation from God to his Prophet. Truth is truth and is never in contradiction with another.”
Nelson

“We are distinguished as a Church to be led by prophets, seers, and revelators called of God for this time. I promise that as you listen and follow their counsel, you will never be led astray. Never!"
Rasband

“And I will set my face against that man, and will make him a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of my people; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
9 And if the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the Lord have not deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.”
Ezekiel

“We have prayed often for this literal godsend.” Nelson

“We can win this war if everyone will follow the wise and thoughtful recommendations of medical experts and government leaders.”
Nelson, Eyring, Oaks

“Are you willing to let God prevail in your life? Are you willing to let God be the most important influence in your life?….. Are you willing to have your will swallowed up in
His?”
Nelson

“O Lord, I have trusted in thee, and I will trust in thee forever. I will not put my trust in the arm of flesh; for I know that cursed is he that putteth his trust in the arm of flesh. Yea, cursed is he that putteth his trust in man or maketh flesh his arm.“
Nephi

Truth is truth. It is never in contradiction.

Good actors, all. They read their lines well. Too bad their actions do not match their words.

Is it just me, or does this sound like Joseph Smith?

So, lets follow this in action. God brought Samuel to Eli as a baby. Many years went by and Eli had PH power, Samuel always abided Eli's authority. Many, years later and fat, Eli loses both sons and the ark of the covenant and piles over dead on the stone wall.............. What about the 30 years in between? All the years Eli's sons' whored the temple? I guess Ezekiel wasn't a real prophet after all? Many more examples of prophets and HP and leaders with power (remained with power) that god never took for making mistakes or being proud. that is the nature of this world and it is no different for a prophet or leader (I wrote prophet in lower case like the intent in the op vs. Prophet as an LDS title).

Joseph was taken out of the saints midst because they would not come into the Lord’s presence and receive Him. This was the foundation of Zion.
As in Moses time when the Israelites would not go up the mountain to see God face to face.

Isaiah 29
13 Wherefore the Lord said,
Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me,
but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:

Isaiah 29
9 Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry ye out, and cry: they are drunken, but not with wine;
they stagger, but not with strong drink.

10 For the Lord hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets
and your rulers, the seers hath he covered.

Isaiah 24:5
5 "The earth lies polluted under its inhabitants:
they have transgressed the laws,
changed the ordinances, set at nought the ancient covenant."

Apostle Joseph Fielding Smith declared that;
“It is the L. D. Saints who have transgressed the laws, change the ordinance, broke the everlasting covenant.”
Joseph Fielding Smith (Deseret News, Church Section, Oct. 17, 1936)

explanation:
"Causing these curses is the wickedness of Jehovah’s people, who have altered his “ordinances” or “ritual” and perverted his “laws” or “doctrine” , thereby violating Jehovah’s covenant and rendering it void.
Jehovah’s servant, who personifies Jehovah’s covenant (Isaiah 42:6; 49:8), they likewise set at nought (Isaiah 49:7; 50:5-11; 52:14)."
