I would advise Sister Craig to become a pluralist, but I donât think the response would be too favourable.âI want to be like Eliza,â Sister Craig, first counselor in the Young Women general presidency, wrote in a social media post.

The International Women's Day has nothing really to do with this prophecy. It has a lot more to do with lots of divided attention about how it is to be observed.Mamabear wrote: âMarch 9th, 2022, 6:25 amI realize the world does embraces itâŚ.. They continually feed us (women) praise and adoration and never warn us to repent of our wordliness. We, my myself included, need to put off the world now more than ever. We are in over our heads with social media, vanity, appearance, perfection, materialism, idolatry, etc.
Consider why weâve never heard this prophesy spoken about at church:
âMoreover the Lord saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet:
17 Therefore the Lord will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the Lord will discover their secret parts.
18 In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their cauls, and their round tires like the moon,
The chains, and the bracelets, and the mufflers,
20 The bonnets, and the ornaments of the legs, and the headbands, and the tablets, and the earrings,
21 The rings, and nose jewels,
22 The changeable suits of apparel, and the mantles, and the wimples, and the crisping pins,
23 The glasses, and the fine linen, and the hoods, and the veils.
24 And it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet smell there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead of well set hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth; and burning instead of beauty.
25 Thy men shall fall by the sword, and thy mighty in the war.
26 And her gates shall lament and mourn; and she being desolate shall sit upon the ground.â Isaiah 3:17-26
This prophesy is at our doors.

I know this prophecy has nothing to do with womens day. I was just pointing out that the church panders to us instead of calling us to repentance like the scriptures indicate.Subcomandante wrote: âMarch 9th, 2022, 8:25 amThe International Women's Day has nothing really to do with this prophecy. In Mexico, this is a lively debate. You will have many women that refuse to be congratulated on this day, until the current climate where you have ten deaths per day attributable to femicide is eliminated. You still have many cases of domestic violence and abuse. 97 percent of these cases go unpunished within the country.
Others do appreciate the congratulations but from the point of view that many of the women have had to fight for the opportunities that they enjoy today.
Others still use it as an excuse to peddle "rights" such as abortion. The Greenscarves are very adept at doing that, often using violent means to do so.
This is NOT a day of "I am Woman Hear me Roar." This is more of a day of reflection and commemoration than it is of celebration and fireworks.

In order to gain respect and have your own holiday you will have to renounce your manhood and start competing in womens sports. Maybe you could even break records.iWriteStuff wrote: âMarch 9th, 2022, 8:34 am I know this is a dumb question, but when do I get congratulated for having the other set of genitalia?
Or how about "International Green Eyes and Brown Hair Day"?
I know, I know, I'm missing the point. All women are special and amazing.

Teammates say they are uncomfortable changing in locker room with trans UPenn swimmer Lia Thomas
A member of the University of Pennsylvania womenâs swim team said some team members are uncomfortable changing in the locker room with transgender swimmer Lia Thomas, according to a teammate.
Thomas, 22, who spent the previous three years swimming with the menâs team before she began transitioning to a woman, has created an uneasy environment in the locker room, as she still retains her biologically male genitalia â which are sometimes exposed â and is attracted to women, one teammate told the Daily Mail in an interview.

This kind of stuff just gives me a strange bad feeling. The whole message feels so hollow and insincere; it's more like a veiled attack on tradition than a genuine appreciation of women. As if everyone is just out to get women and we need someone to step in and change that. This is not the kind of thing a church should be promoting.Mamabear wrote: âMarch 8th, 2022, 8:31 pm https://newsroom.churchofjesuschrist.or ... cial-media

In some regard, the Church IS calling us to repentance...this quote, in Spanish, was on the Church's Instagram account for the members in the Mexico area, hashtagging #dĂadelamujer:Mamabear wrote: âMarch 9th, 2022, 8:34 amI know this prophecy has nothing to do with womens day. The Church will grow as it reflects righteousness, especially amongst the women members. It is implied that the Church will start faltering whenever we want to be more like the world at large.Spencer W Kimball wrote:⌠My dear sisters, may I suggest to you something that has not been said before or at least in quite this way. Much of the major growth that is coming to the Church in the last days will come because many of the good women of the world (in whom there is often such an inner sense of spirituality) will be drawn to the Church in large numbers. This will happen to the degree that the women of the Church reflect righteousness and articulateness in their lives and to the degree that the women of the Church are seen as distinct and differentâin happy waysâfrom the women of the world. ⌠Thus it will be that female exemplars of the Church will be a significant force in both the numerical and the spiritual growth of the Church in the last days. âŚ
