This whole interview is worth the listen but if anybody is constrained for time listen to 7:30-8:50 and then 12:25-13:12

In a nutshell, we are on the cusp of a global famine, and wheat prices are set to quadruple by the end of the year. This is a huge deal because we are already above the levels we saw when the Arab spring happened over a decade ago. If we jump 4x from here we will see massive civil unrest especially in places like the middle east. We may not starve in North America but much much higher food prices are coming.

Ezra Taft Bensons warnings from 40 years ago may start to come in handy here. Hope everybody is preparing accordingly

So if I have an extra $100 today...would I be better off buying food? Or a pair of pants with smaller waist?

Take in the pants (lots of people own sewing machines) buy food.

the US has less open stored grain on a per capita basis than most civilized countries, most inventory is owned by mega & Int. processors, and they’re animals are gonna consume it…..

the USDA & CCC haven’t been involved the US “food security” biz since the late 70s……
