RMN asked God, "What do I lack?"
Jesus appeared to RMN for the first time in his life and said "Sell all that you have and give it to the poor."
RMN said "But I need to run thy church."
Jesus said "Give the 100 Billion to those that need it."
RMN said "I would rather die."
Jesus said "Don't worry, you will."
These quotes are probably not verbatim.

One of the apostles (Holland?) used the Rich Young Man story in a recent conference talk, and Sister Wendy used the Emporer Has No Clothes in a recent talk.
It’s like they can’t see the end of their noses.......
Thanks, Fred, for making me laugh tonight.

Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor?Fred wrote: ↑March 3rd, 2022, 7:23 pm Jesus appeared to RMN for the first time in his life and said "Sell all that you have and give it to the poor."

Re: RMN asked God, "What do I lack?"
one of the realities of building a temple . . . which is what RMN's lawyers told the IRS that the money was being saved for . . . . the reality is that we will be broke. . . no money . . no exchange . . . no materials . . we will build it just like Nephi did in a desert . . or like Jared and his brother did in the desert . . . eveything will be wiped off the face of the earth . . . all of man's manufacturing . . .this temple will not be built by the same factories that built our idols
nor will the city of Zion or the temple be decorated as they are today . . .like Las Vegas . . .I highly doubt that the property will be strung with glowing lights and blinking signs, statues of Christ, pictures of "modern art" and other decor that is so worldly . . . they will be designed according to God's style . . . not the world's
so RMN's idea of needing money to build a temple is really absurd . . .

The ointment was a good deed. An act of love. Perhaps worth more than 300 pence.Artaxerxes wrote: ↑March 3rd, 2022, 8:13 pmWhy was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor?Fred wrote: ↑March 3rd, 2022, 7:23 pm Jesus appeared to RMN for the first time in his life and said "Sell all that you have and give it to the poor."

Then go out into the world and ask people what they need. You'll find that people are always asking for money, but not many ever ask for faith.

They're either rubes or diabolically evil.Lizzy60 wrote: ↑March 3rd, 2022, 7:28 pm One of the apostles (Holland?) used the Rich Young Man story in a recent conference talk, and Sister Wendy used the Emporer Has No Clothes in a recent talk.

Re: RMN asked God, "What do I lack?"
47 And while they were yet laying the foundation thereof, they began to say among themselves: And what need hath my lord of this tower?
48 And consulted for a long time, saying among themselves: What need hath my lord of this tower, seeing this is a time of peace?
49 Might not this money be given to the exchangers? For there is no need of these things.
50 And while they were at variance one with another they became very slothful, and they hearkened not unto the commandments of their lord.
51 And the enemy came by night, and broke down the hedge; and the servants of the nobleman arose and were affrighted, and fled; and the enemy destroyed their works, and broke down the olive trees.
52 Now, behold, the nobleman, the lord of the vineyard, called upon his servants, and said unto them, Why! what is the cause of this great evil?
53 Ought ye not to have done even as I commanded you, and—after ye had planted the vineyard, and built the hedge round about, and set watchmen upon the walls thereof—built the tower also, and set a watchman upon the tower, and watched for my vineyard, and not have fallen asleep, lest the enemy should come upon you?
54 And behold, the watchman upon the tower would have seen the enemy while he was yet afar off; and then ye could have made ready and kept the enemy from breaking down the hedge thereof, and saved my vineyard from the hands of the destroyer.

Re: RMN asked God, "What do I lack?"
I forgot and left the most important part out. and come and follow me.
Matthew 19:21
Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
The church can not follow money and Jesus at the same time.
Jesus is our example. The Q15 are terrible examples. If we follow in their footsteps, we will be damned. If they followed Jesus, they would not need the $100 Billion.
How are they going to follow Jesus when they are following the UN and WEF? Plus, they would have to believe the Book of Mormon. All of it. Even the so called racist parts. And they would have to give up their queers, transvestites, and cross dressers.
Or, in other words, as cab says, they need to be born of God with a mighty change...
I wonder what would happen if Jesus went to one of their homes as a missionary? Would they try to convert Him, or would they kick Him out?
