"Brought to you by Radio Sputnik" a (Russian) state owned news agency. Which means it's Putin's narrative, paid for by Putin.NeveR wrote: ↑February 28th, 2022, 8:46 am Podcast - worth a listen for an informed US perspective...

I have a challenge for you. Can you find anyone from Russia, who is a blogger or youtuber, who is anti-Putin? I'm having a really hard time in my search. All I'm getting are references of bloggers being jailed or poisoned. You'd think there would be at least one out there

Ray McGovern is an American, former CIA.
Scott Ritter is an American, former UN weapons inspector.
They probably have some insights to contribute, no?
There is a very active anti-Putin press in Russia. The communists hate him. The liberals hate him. The extreme nationalists hate him. There's even a publication called The Moscow Times, run by Americans out of Moscow that is routinely critical of the govt.I have a challenge for you. There was a big anti-war protest in Moscow a few days ago btw. Really good to see.
Look, we're very close to full on nuclear war right now. If there was ever a time for reaching out and trying to understand people on other sides this must be it.

I look at a lot of stuff, but I've been reading Nyquist since 2000, as I'm sure you've seen me post his articles. Nyquist gets a lot of his opinions based on what Russian defectors have said, so I've done a little research into them. But there are some things that I disagree with him on.InfoWarrior82 wrote: ↑February 28th, 2022, 10:15 amSarah wrote: ↑February 28th, 2022, 10:11 am"Brought to you by Radio Sputnik" a (Russian) state owned news agency. For news, I look at dozens of news sites, some from India, as I find them to be good on China stuff particularly. I like WION and NewsX. I listen to a lot of random financial youtubers as I'm doing housework. I also get a lot of my opinions from personal revelation, other dreams/visions I believe are true, and the prophecies in the scriptures.

I appreciate getting the other perspective. I've gotten it. I understand it. It all centers around this idea that the US is initiating coups and supposedly fighting terrorists, in their desire to control the world and put down Russia. I'm simply giving you my interpretation of those type of events vs. the Russian narrative side.
I did see the reports of the protests, and that is a good sign. I'll have to check out Moscow times, and you didn't name the anti-Putin guy or press you said was very active. What's his name?

Nyquist flatly denies reality and says the US wanted to live in peace with Russia. This is from the same truth-inversion that brought us "Al Qaeda did 9/11". It's just a lie that can be proven so a million different ways.
It's this divorcement from reality that makes us incapable as a people of rationally opposing our government's foreign policies, no matter how immoral and obscene they are.
We KNOW our govt has slaughtered millions of people in dozens of countries.
We know they lied to us to justify wars of conquest.
We know they drone strike US citizens
We know they have turned civilized countries like Iraq and Libya into bombed out third world hell holes.
We know they have encroached ruthlessly to surround Russia by invading Syria and Afghanistan and breaking their promise and expanding NATO to Russia's border.
Yet some guy can go on the radio and say "the US wants to live in peace with Russia" - and intelligent 9/11 Truthers BELIEVE him even though they KNOW the US empire doesn't want to live in peace with anyone.
How are we going to oppose a nuclear war if we can't even see our own country straight?

Re: Ray McGovern and Scott Ritter on Ukraine crisis
Let's talk about coups.
But before I talk about the 2014 coup, I want to point out a few things about Trump, who currently is praising Putin as smart, savvy, and calling him a genius. Trump supported and funded the suicidal coup attempt in Venezuela, which should be a clear sign that Trump is part of this American Imperialist coup conspiracy that supposedly intends to control the world through coup attempts. (They usually fail in one way or another)
Can anyone claim Trump is anything but a wolf in sheep's clothing knowing that he supported all the meddling in Venezuela?
The next question we should ask is what kind of influence does Russia and China have in Venezuela and why is it there? Some will argue it's simply these authoritarian's attempt to push back on American hegemony.
What should be considered, is that all these failed coup attempts over the years consistently led to Russia and China tightening their grip on the target country, and the Imperialist American narrative being built up in order for Russia and China to have justification to take down the Western Imperialists. These smaller dictatorships always have a friend in other dictators.
We just happen to have the Bushes, Clinton, Hilary, Obama, Trump and Biden all on board with the American goal to dominate the world through coup attempts, which always fail. We see the strengthening of Russia and China over the last few decades because of the traitorous actions of our Presidents and their guys and gals helping them in the US government, to ultimately aid the enemy, the same enemy that has the iron grip set in place over their own citizens, which everyone thinks this so-called Western NWO is going to implement all by themselves. It has always been the plan to have Russia and China defeat the West and implement their version of order on the world. Western Puppets will always be used in the drama, but the East is definitely not the victim it is being made out to be in alt-right media land. Even the one of the guests in the podcast NeveR posted, rants on and on about how naive the West is, in thinking it has a chance against Russia and China. All these presidents and advisors are not that stupid. They are aiding and abetting the enemy for personal gain.
Here's some quotes from this article: https://www.venezuelablog.org/taking-st ... venezuela/
"On June 28, the Maduro government celebrated 46 years of “fruitful” and “unbreakable” diplomatic relations between Venezuela and China, praising the Chinese government for its defense of Venezuelan sovereignty. This came just a few weeks after Nicolás Maduro, in the face of heightening pressure from the United States, publicly thanked allies including China, Russia, Iran, and Cuba, referring to those countries as Venezuela’s “true friends in the world,” for their efforts to provide assistance to mitigate Venezuela’s humanitarian crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic.
"...Following Guaidó’s proclamation of an interim government in January 2019, Moscow heightened its military presence in Venezuela, sending a military technical contingent and up to a hundred Russian military specialists to Caracas. Additionally, Rosneft reportedly became more involved in the day-to-day operations of Venezuela’s state-owned oil company in 2019, providing maintenance and technical expertise to PDVSA refineries.
"...While the Maduro government’s struggles to repay its debts, coupled with the ongoing U.S. sanctions campaign, makes Venezuela a particularly high-risk trading partner and political ally, the Russian government has consistently supported the Maduro regime. This is in part because Venezuela is an extremely strategic political and economic partner that presents opportunities for Russia to advance its long-term goals as a global superpower. For Moscow, Venezuela presents not only an ideological foothold in the Western Hemisphere, but a source of massive crude reserves that can help Russia to advance its long-term goals in expanding throughout Latin America and the world as a major global energy supplier.
"China has also provided the Maduro government with technological assistance and intelligence to implement systems to track and monitor citizen behavior. In fact, Venezuela’s carnet de la patria, a ‘homeland card’ connected to a database that tracks daily activities such as buying gasoline, food, and medicine, was inspired in part by China’s own ‘social credit’ system. The same Chinese telecom giant, ZTE Corp, that created China’s system of social control was hired in 2018 to build what is now the carnet de la patria. Since its conception, the carnet de la patria system has been heavily denounced by human rights activists as a system designed to control social and political behavior and deepen citizens’ dependency on the regime."
This article also looks like a good analysis of Russia and friends' influence in Venezuela.

You'll have to give me the context of the statement you're referring to. I don't think any honest American wants war with Russia, but many would support punishing Russia with sanctions for example for their bad behavior. But this is one of the areas in which I disagreed with Nyquist, that while he did see many of the compromised government officials, he didn't see all of them, like Trump for example. He genuinely thought Trump was sincere at least at first (not sure what he things now) but obviously I think he's a liar like all the rest.

I think conservatives need to get used to looking at real data about what our country has done and getting information from a whole spectrum of sources.
@Sarah - obviously When I said the US does not want to live in peace with anyone I was talking about the political class, the MiC, the Gads who love conquest and profit from it.
I'm aware that most ordinary Americans do NOT want or profit from conquest.
Do you believe 9/11 was perpetrated by a section of the US govt to justify endless wars of conquest?

Re: Ray McGovern and Scott Ritter on Ukraine crisis
Well, I think there's a difference between the many many people in government and our MIC who benefit from small wars, who have that incentive to support them so they can get rich, and any who actually might want to take on Russia and China and establish a world government. Do you know any of the later? The Kremlin and CCP are using the former to do their dirty work.NeveR wrote: ↑February 28th, 2022, 12:21 pmI think some of these influential "conservatives" are just selling establishment narratives in a 'libertarian' or 'alternative' wrapper.larsenb wrote: ↑February 28th, 2022, 11:51 amJoel Skousen rather subscribes to the Nyquist view, and seems to ignore the NWO machinations NATO countries including our own, are up to.NeveR wrote: ↑February 28th, 2022, 11:45 amThe Iron Curtain is gone.

But this is one of the areas in which I disagreed with Nyquist, that while he did see many of the compromised government officials, he didn't see all of them, like Trump for example. He genuinely thought Trump was sincere at least at first (not sure what he things now) but obviously I think he's a liar like all the rest.
Regarding 9/11:
I think it was perpetrated by Al Qaeda, but with help from Russians (see links below) and traitors in the US. The point was to have a reason for the war on terror, which Putin participated heavily in, and also to stir up that hatred even more between Americans and the Muslim world.

I don't know what Nyquist thinks about 9/11 other than the articles I posted. You really should read them and tell me what you think! He shows the links Russia had to funding and training Al Qaeda. I'm also looking at as proof, a military exercise Russia performed just before 9/11 went down, that caused our military to send bombers up in Alaska. It looked like Russia was distracting our military just as 9/11 started.

The evidence for the US provoking Russia is right there in WHAT WE PHYSICALLY DID and how it benefitted our hegemon.
Some guy with an ax to grind saying "yeah it was all Putin really" isn't evidence of anything at all.
Do you have evidence of Russia benefitting from, say, the sanctions, or the encroachment of NATO, or the tearing up of the non prolif treaties?
That's the kind of thing that would mean something.

Re: Ray McGovern and Scott Ritter on Ukraine crisis
I've stated over and over again, that every time NATO did something bad, Russia gained. They gained control of Chechnya because of "the war on terror" on Muslim extremists. They gained control of Georgia and land. They gained even more control of Kazakhstan and rooted out any opposition because of so-called foreign meddling. They gained Crimea, the Donbass, and are crushing Ukraine. They've essentially gained control of Syria. I talked about their influence in Venezuela. I could go on. And I will post evidence and discuss your objection to the defector claims (which I've already done. Think about your narcissist family member you posted about. That is how Russia has been acting throughout all of Putin's tenure. They are liars and manipulators and really really good at it. Look at how many they have won to their side who are saying - "just give them what they want and they'll be happy!"
And if he refused to give her such a guarantee and kept bringing guns home and keeping them loaded in a locked gun cupboard outside her bedroom door I would not really blame her totally if one day she snapped and attacked him before he finally did what it looked like he was working up to do.
See, Sarah, your version of Russia is just your interpretation created by assuming motives and whole messes of covert activity for which there is no evidence.
Sure, you MIGHT be right, but until there's data to support your idea it's just an idea.
Meanwhile the evidence at face value clearly shows US aggression and provocation over many many years.

Sarah this is just unfactual.Sarah wrote: ↑February 28th, 2022, 2:29 pmI've stated over and over again, that every time NATO did something bad, Russia gained. They didn't 'gain control' of Chechnya. It was already part of the Russian Federation when in the late 1990s the US funded Moslem terrorists and mercenaries to start a civil war there with the aim of breaking it away from Russia. Russia spent many lives and much money fighting these 'rebels'. They didn't 'gain control' of anything, they merely kept Chechnya from falling to al Qaeda etc.
They have NO control of Georgia. In 2008 Georgia invaded South Ossetia, a Russian protectorate. Russia chased them out, pursued them into Georgia - but then left again.
They have NO control over Kazakhstan which has been an independent republic since the SU fell, so I don't know what you're talking about there.
You can't talk about Crimea or the Donbass without understanding the complex background and NATO's persistent provocation and meddling.
They are only in Syria in a bid to stop it falling to the US. We went in there as part of the WoT, which required us to conquer the famous "7 countries in 5 years". Russia could not afford to let Syria fall to the U.S. as it would have begun to compromise their own security , so when it was clear Assad was about to be toppled they moved in.
(Btw - the US are still ILLEGALLY occupying - and profiting from - all the richest oil fields in northern Syria, but that's ok, right?)
Most of your examples are just Russia defending itself or its interests, but because Russia is doing it and not the US you think it's somehow BAD.
It's such distorted thinking!
Re. "defection" - If a Russian doesn't want to live in Russia any more they can just pack up, get on a plane and leave, ok. Just like here. I have a friend who studied ballet in St Petersburg. She loved it there. They have great night clubs. You seem to think it's still like The Spy Who Came in From the Cold, but it's just a place now. I don't know what else to tell you.

Re: Ray McGovern and Scott Ritter on Ukraine crisis
9/11 is complex and probably served even more than two purposes, one of which was to provide a pretext for the US going into the Middle/Near east in a big way. I also subscribe to the massively documented research provided by Christopher Bollyn, who tags Israeli Zionists including the Mossad playing a very big role in setting 9/11 up (the planning) and the cover-up. Of course there were key players in our own government who played significant roles, to include VP Cheney, etc.NeveR wrote: ↑February 28th, 2022, 12:21 pmI think some of these influential "conservatives" are just selling establishment narratives in a 'libertarian' or 'alternative' wrapper.larsenb wrote: ↑February 28th, 2022, 11:51 amJoel Skousen rather subscribes to the Nyquist view, and seems to ignore the NWO machinations NATO countries including our own, are up to.NeveR wrote: ↑February 28th, 2022, 11:45 amThe Iron Curtain is gone. I look at a lot of stuff, but I've been reading Nyquist since 2000, as I'm sure you've seen me post his articles. Nyquist gets a lot of his opinions based on what Russian defectors have said, so I've done a little research into them. But there are some things that I disagree with him on.
I think conservatives need to get used to looking at real data about what our country has done and getting information from a whole spectrum of sources.
@Sarah - obviously When I said the US does not want to live in peace with anyone I was talking about the political class, the MiC, the Gads who love conquest and profit from it.
I'm aware that most ordinary Americans do NOT want or profit from conquest.
Do you believe 9/11 was perpetrated by a section of the US govt to justify endless wars of conquest?

Re: Ray McGovern and Scott Ritter on Ukraine crisis
Right, "7 countries in 5 years" comes from the testimony of Gen. Wesley Clark, who said the following when interviewed by Amy Goodman. Clark had just come off a 3 year stint as head of NATO.NeveR wrote: ↑February 28th, 2022, 3:27 pm . . . .

He went on to say:About ten days after 9/11, I went through the Pentagon and I saw Secretary Rumsfeld and Deputy Secretary Wolfowitz. I went downstairs just to say hello to some of the people on the Joint Staff who used to work for me, and one of the generals called me in. He said, “Sir, you’ve got to come in and talk to me a second.” I said, “Well, you’re too busy.” He said, “No, no.” He says, “We’ve made the decision we’re going to war with Iraq.” This was on or about the 20th of September. I said, “We’re going to war with Iraq? Why?” He said, “I don’t know.” He said, “I guess they don’t know what else to do.” So I said, “Well, did they find some information connecting Saddam to al-Qaeda?” He said, “No, no.” He says, “There’s nothing new that way. They just made the decision to go to war with Iraq.” He said, “I guess it’s like we don’t know what to do about terrorists, but we’ve got a good military and we can take down governments.” And he said, “I guess if the only tool you have is a hammer, every problem has to look like a nail.”
From: https://genius.com/General-wesley-clark ... -annotated A very well know quote and certainly a very telling one.So I came back to see him a few weeks later, and by that time we were bombing in Afghanistan. I said, “Are we still going to war with Iraq?” And he said, “Oh, it’s worse than that.” He reached over on his desk. He picked up a piece of paper. And he said, “I just got this down from upstairs” -- meaning the Secretary of Defense’s office -- “today.” And he said, “This is a memo that describes how we’re going to take out seven countries in five years, starting with Iraq, and then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and, finishing off, Iran.” I said, “Is it classified?” He said, “Yes, sir.” I said, “Well, don’t show it to me.” And I saw him a year or so ago, and I said, “You remember that?” He said, “Sir, I didn’t show you that memo! I didn’t show it to you!”

Re: Ray McGovern and Scott Ritter on Ukraine crisis
Putin has been complaining to the UN and NATO and other world organizations, for the last four months, that he is tired of the chemical weapon plants built and operated in Ukraine by our own home grown cabal . . .set up by Obama and Hillary
Fox news just did an interview of a member of Ukraine parliament where she claimed that they were fighting for the new world order. . . .she then had a picture of herself incorrectly holding a fake gun . . .then a picture of two men(supposed to be the ukraine citizens) holding cardboard guns . . . the interview, pictures and comments are all staged except for the shocking revelation that they are fighting for- the NWO
Putin sent a map ahead of time and a warning ahead of time that he was going to destroy the weapon plants . . . some are on his border . . . he has destroyed 7 of 11 plants so far . . . he has publicly made speeches as well told the UN he has no desire to occupy Ukraine . . . some of the news stations have cut and censored some of his speeches . . so they can continue to lie to us.
The home grown cabal, with the help of Soros, has made money in Ukraine for years on child trafficking children for Ukraine, drug manufacture and illegal sale, money laundering. It is a whole mafia currupt country . . . leaving a few good citizens to deal with it
as bad as Putin is he still kicked Soros out of his country . . .
The USA cabal has much to lose in $$$$$ when these plants are destroyed . . . . notice the evil gads all start talking on the news . . .Romney . . Clinton . . . Soros . . .where's Kerry? . . .
5 virgins were NOT deceived

some of the news of Putin complaining was published in French newspapers . . . . sometimes I have to leave the US news to get some truth . . . fox News supplied some of this and the rest is being reported out of Ukraine . . .storm rider gives the value of the resources in Ukraine that can be taken by the cabal . . . check out Soros texts . . .what a liar and he tells us his own story and crimes . . .
Putin put out a map of hits ion a map and that is where he has hit . . .doesn't have a ground army in there yet . . but USA sent a missle to tase Putins planes down . . . no protection for the people . . .I was'nt surprised to see the people go underground . . . when those labs blow . . .then air is gonna be hard to breathe . .
just an hour ago the US embassy just removed all of their Ukraine biolab web documents . . . from the website . . just in the last day they removed all of the pdf files . . . reported by seargant news. . . america was their national headquarters for the activites. . . .
Ukraine is under control mostly by iluminati . . witha Lucerferian president who hand picked the parliament . . .largest money laundering country in the wolrd . . largest child trafficking
and . . Putinis only destroying their bio weapon labs . . . .
